<i>GET OUT YOUR PITCHFORKS & TORCHES — THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO END!</i></big></big>
JK, but now that I have your attention, I am going to try to condense what I am about to say as much as possible. There’s a TL;DR, a full description, & a complete technical report of what I’m proposing, please read one (or more if you want) & then vote below. Suggestions & opinions welcome.

Essentially what I am proposing is that several of our default user groups be outfitted for different purposes. Content Moderators would gain all
[1] of the rights that Admins have, except the ability to edit MediaWiki,
[2] access
Special:ThemeDesigner,
[3] alter
Special:WikiFeatures,
[4] edit the
Mobile Main Page,
[5] & Bulk-Edit-Template-Type.
[6] Without the ability to touch those delicate pages, we could allow more users who have no knowledge of code whatsoever to become “Leader Admins” who manage the Wiki. This would mean the total loss of the Content Moderator group as it exists today, but since in our history Admins have been the primary exercisers of such rights, we don’t see it as a serious loss.
While Content Moderators would become near-Admins, Rollbacks would become “Code Admins,” whose only abilities would be to edit protected pages (templates), & also to edit <i>MediaWiki</i> files & pages, thus allowing them to contribute to delicate code without needing to be paragons of social skill <i>or to be very active edit-wise</i>. Since we would effectively be losing Rollbacks as a group, all of their rights (plus a little extra) would be given to the Chat Moderator group, & it would become our Sentinels all-in-one (so nothing is lost).
So what happens to
Special:ThemeDesigner & the rest? What happens to Staff? Well, what would happen is that those extra rights would become Bureaucrat-only, so that they may only be altered after first notifying or conversing with the
Diep.io Community first (since so few people will have access to them). After this occurred, me,
Zathsu, &
Bana (as part of a compromise) would go through as a temporary Tribunal & review all of the Staff to see which groups they best belong in after the change. Staff with an affinity for coding would keep Rollback rights for example, but users with no coding affinity would lose their Rollback rights; other Staff would be rearranged similarly, depending on where their skillsets lay.</div></div></div>

<h1><span class="mw-headline" id="In_Conclusion"> In Conclusion </span></h1>
<p>There are a couple of debatable changes, & while they’re relatively minor, they may be dealbreakers for you, so read carefully and make sure you understand the implications. Try not to vote unless you actually understand this proposal (I would be happy to answer any questions about it). Again, this is a <i>proposal</i>, so if you don’t like what such a thing portends, feel free to discuss it & vote your conscience.
At the end of the day however, this would change many things; it means it’ll be easier to rise in staff, it means that some people in the lower levels will be promoted (although some may be demoted too), & it means that many people in the higher levels will be demoted, but the end result is a Staff which allows more people to excel in their own areas of expertise, so consider it carefully.
