The Aquashot is one of the Tier 2 tanks that may upgrade from the Basic at level 10. It may further upgrade into the Waterhose, Splasher, Raincaster, Encaser, Dissolver, Flameshot, Siberian or Aqua-Layer at level 25, or the Archerfish if one chooses to stay as an Aquashot until level 45.
Design[]

The Aquashot features a circular body with a grey Cannon mounted on the front, similar to a Basic. It also features a cyan circle on its body, regardless of players' team colors. The bullets fired also have a cyan glow, once again regardless of players' team colors. The bullets are officially named "Slowing Bullets".
Technical[]
Compared to the Basic:
- Bullet Speed is increased.
- Bullet Health is virtually nonexistent; the bullets fired from an Aquashot are immediately destroyed upon contact with enemy ammunitions. This means that the Aquashot is unable to destroy any kind of bullets, drones, traps and other kinds of ammunitions on its own.
- Bullet Damage and Bullet Penetration is slightly decreased, similar to a Twin.
- Reload is decreased by quite a bit, around 85% of a normal Basic's reload.
- To compensate the amount of statistical nerfs given, the Aquashot is able to fire bullets that can reduce the Movement Speed of enemy Tanks, enemy drones, non-Tank enemies (Crashers, Polygons, Sentries, etc.), and to some extent, bosses.
- Contact with a Slowing Bullet reduces Movement Speed by 25% for half a second. The effect is quartered on bosses at 6.25%, thus making the Aquashot's slowing effect nearly useless.
- If an entity gets hit by more than one Slowing Bullet, only the durations stack, the effects do not. Different types of Slowing Bullets can override the slowdown effect, therefore it is generally advised to use the same type of Slowing Bullet to continuously slow down a fast target.
- Entities that are slowed down by a Slowing Bullet have a cyan glow around their body, and thus it's easy to tell a slowed down enemy from the others, other than the enemy moving slower than normal.
Strategies[]
- Strong against: Low levelled Tanks, fast moving Tanks without good DPS, rammer Tanks, low reload Tanks, unless they have other forms of defense. (e.g. Auto-Smashers, Auto-Doubles, etc.)
- Weak against: Tanks able to create large quantities of bullets in a short time, be it focused (e.g. Triplets) or unfocused, (e.g. Penta Shots) drone-wielding tanks. (e.g. Overlords)
As the Aquashot[]
- The Aquashot's ability has supportive capability, and thus is best used in TDM game modes. By itself, its firepower isn't very different when compared to the Basic, (and, in fact, statistically worse) but when one is with a teammate, one can slow down any unlucky Tanks and let their teammate kill any slowed down Tanks.
- Despite this, it has its use in other game modes. The player can slow down enemy Tanks, either to kill them or to buy some time to recover some of their health.
- Be careful of bullet spammers; the Aquashot's bullets are unable to destroy ammunitions of any kind. Only attack them if they're unaware; same goes for drone-wielding tanks.
- Tanks with low reload becomes prey for the Aquashot. One can evade the bullets fired and get closer, and enemy Tanks will either have to escape or be killed.
- Rammers and fast moving Tanks are good targets, but the bullets need to actually hit them to slow them down. Remember that the Bullet Speed of an Aquashot is increased, therefore taking down rammers is easy if one has good aiming.
- Take note that the Aquashot's slowing effect is minuscule against bosses. Therefore, it isn't recommended to 1v1 against a boss, unless the boss is in critically low health and the player can ensure that they'll actually kill it.
Against the Aquashot[]
- Bullet spammers can quickly destroy the bullets of an Aquashot and then go for the Aquashot itself. The Aquashot has no protection against Tanks without its bullets, and therefore it's generally harmless once its bullets are destroyed.
- Drone tanks can direct its drones to the Aquashot itself; the bullets cannot destroy drones. Even better, use tanks with capabilities to swarm (e.g. Necromancers and Cruiser-based tanks) to kill the Aquashot. Beware though, as the Aquashot can run away and even retaliate if given enough time.
- Tanks that can fire in all directions, such as Octo Tanks, Cyclones, etc. can quickly destroy both the bullets of an Aquashot and the Aquashot itself, provided it's on the player's FOV, making them one of the greatest counters to the Aquashot.
- Rammers and fast moving tanks are not recommended to use against the Aquashot, but if one still wants to fight it using these kind of tanks, one of the best ways to deal with it to circle around it, and slowly moving closer to the Aquashot. When the player is close enough, they can ram head-on to the Aquashot, killing it.
