Conflictors are incredibly uncommon Sentries that heavily resemble and are lesser versions of The War Scorpion. Conflictors on their own can be located in Hexagon Nests or areas cluttered with Rocks, they use their powerful claws and tail to swipe at and kill enemies with, although they're unlikely to pose a major threat on their own.
Design[]
The Conflictor uses a base design extremely similar to the War Scorpion, it has two trapezoids with segmented arms coming out of both which are attached to two "Claws" each having 6 deadly spikes each. The Conflictor also has 2 fangs or spikes attached to its front to act as mandibles and a segmented tail with three lime colored spikes used to signify the Acid Effect with a turret with a second Acid Effect Prop on its front barrel.
Technical[]
Conflictors on their own will attempt to snap their claws on any nearby targets and will occasionally swing their tails at any nearby enemies to deal extra damage, Conflictors will also rapidly spawn a max of 8 small drones that act like crashers. Conflictors despite their weaker appearance and power to the War Scorpion do still have possibly fatal claws and weapons, with the difference being that the claws won't kill you immediately and will take a decent chunk of health before knocking you back, while their tails will do moderate poison and contact damage compared to the destructive power and damage the War Scorpion can cause. Conflictors themselves act like small minibosses created by the War Scorpion and have around 200 HP.
The Tail of the Sentry has the stats of a Pounder and fires non explosive bullets that can deal mild Acid Damage.
Compared to The War Scorpion, Conflictors also have weaker damage resistance that is expressed by the removal of the outer shell.
Strategy[]
Fighting and successfully killing a Conflictor should be easy enough as long as you keep your distance while attacking the limbs or center body to effectively kill the Conflictor, DPS and rapid fire tanks can be effective at destroying the Drones of the Conflictor while destroying the acid bullets fired from the turret.
You can also effectively destroy all limbs to almost disarm the Sentry of any dangerous weapons with the exception of the drone spawners.
