This is a joke fanon concept... pls don't implement this, or people who only use one tank as main would be mad...
So... the counter branch is a branch that specializes on countering specific tanks (or things), and each tank in the branch has its own strengths and weaknesses, but mainly they are good against the tank they are meant to counter and not much else. Do not hunt people please. But you kinda have to...
I'll start with a brief intro about the Counter tank...
The Counter tank is a Tier 2 tank that upgrades from Basic, and upgrades into Double Counter, Boss Counter, Debuffer and Hard Counter.
Design[]
It looks like a basic with an red-orange barrel on top of it
Technical[]
It is like a basic, but you can choose which tank to counter. When you upgrade to Counter, it will show again similar to the upgrade list you usually have, but this time u want to pick the tank you want to counter by this way, and when you right click, you verify the tank you want to counter (referring to the "countered" tank). The "countered" tank will get one-shotted by your bullets, no matter what. It also does 3x damage to bosses, but it only does 0.5x damage to everything else, even enemy bullets.
The orange barrel flashes red when the tank you're countering is in your FoV, visible to everyone.
Strategy[]
- Strengths: The "countered" tank, Lower DPS bosses, unaware tanks
- Weaknesses: Most other tanks (except Destroyer branch), also very weak to Trapper branch
As the Counter[]
- Be clear about what tank you want to counter. If you choose wrongly, you waste a life.
- The red flashing alert may alarm The "countered" tank to avoid you, so kill them as soon as you see them.
- Alternatively, if there are multiple tanks near you (and one of them is the "countered" tank), you can attack the other tank to make them think that you are not countering them, which may mislead them to be easily hit.
- With enough bullet stats, you might be able to fight some bosses solo, or steal boss kills.
- Upgrade bullet speed, health, reload and penetration to the max if you only want to kill the "countered" tank.
Against the Counter[]
- Pick a tank that is not countered by them (if you know what they are countering).
- Even when countered, Trapper branches can still stand a chance as their traps have high health, and the enemy bullets are weak to other ammunition.
- Same with drone tanks as they can use their drones as a shield and rush the enemy, but they have a chance to miss and get killed.
- if you are countered, lead them to other tanks which can help you kill them.
Other tanks in the Counter branch[]
Tier 3!
Double Counter: can counter 2 tanks, but normal damage multiplier decreases to 0.4x
Boss Counter: cannot counter tanks anymore, but deal 8x damage to bosses
Debuffer: Debuffs all the stats of the countered tank by 20% when in your FoV (still counters them)
Hard Counter: Deals 3x damage to their bullets too.
Tier 4!
Tri-Counter: can counter 3 tanks, but normal damage multiplier decreases to 0.3x
Ammo Ignorer: Takes 3x less damage from a type of ammunition.
Total Counter: Bullets one-shot their ammunition.
Adaptable Counter: You can change your counter every 3 minutes (by right-clicking)
Energy stealer: Debuffs all the stats of the countered tank and increases yours by 20% when in your FoV (still counters them)
Boss hunter: Deals 10x damage to both the boss' ammunition and itself.
Modes (?)[]
A new mode will be based around this tank. Its called CtCwC ( or just Sudden Death)
This is where you Counter the other Counter tanks with Counter. Counter will be the only available tank in this mode. Bosses may come to ruin your day very rarely.
Since everything is a one-shot kill, go glass. just go glass. unless you wait for a boss to come and survive while others die.

But this tank can, in theory, solve the problem of spawncampers and salty rammers (but more problems will arise)
Lore? (Joke)[]
Once, there was a basic tank, getting killed by a pro Overdrive again and again, no matter how they try, they always fail... He tried to ram them in anger, team up with others to surround the Overdrive, being so mad that their names have slowly changed to stuff like "Overdrive = TERRORIST!" and their only motivation to play is to kill that overdrive just once, and spin on its death. Yet, they never killed them...
Slowly, their barrel became red-orange, although without any strats or much skills, they developed an eyesight that automatically detects any Overdrives they see, and when that happenes, their barrel flashes red in anger. Somehow, they are able to transfer the power of a bullet to a single stat, able to kill a Overdrive even with 24790000000HP on hit, but weak to everything else.
They had found some other people that are on their side, together they hunted different tanks, some think that Booster = TERRORIST!, some think that Bent Hybrid = TERRORIST!, but some stayed true to the leader and kept saying Overdrive = TERRORIST! Together, they develop new eyesights, new techniques, even new strats...
They have secretly gone better at the game, but their hate towards one specific target had ruined them...
