Not to be confused with the Prototype Polygons, an exclusive Tale of Diep polygon type. This was remade by me.
This page is finished. Do not edit without my permission.
The Defenseful Polygons are a collection of weaponized polygons, and also a enemy type that can hide inside polygons! They are a hidden danger that can annoy you at times, but also at times, can be very powerful and dangerous! These types of polygons were all polygons that fought for their mainland, and their own nation. These polygons exist to make leveling up a lot harder. These can only be seen in hh's Arras, an unmade game. There can be up to Defenseful Octagons in that game. However Defenseful Eggs and Sentinel Eggs can't exist in my Arras. Same as Defenseful Nonagons and above tier. Defenseful Squares can also be necromized by the Necromancer.
Note: The health and stats of the Defenseful Shapes will be in Arras numbers. In Diep numbers they will be different.
Spawn[]
Defenseful Polygons are quite common currently. These can spawn everywhere, and it replaces a normal polygon spawn in a 1/5 chance. In Hard-Mode Siege, these spawn everywhere, replacing normal polygons entirely.
Defenseful Polygons[]
Defenseful Squares[]
- Quad Square:Looks like a regular Square until you got close to it. Then it will reveal it's weapons, which happens to have 4 Gunner barrels, arranged like a Quad Tank. It's bullets are fast, and the Quad Square fires every second, but it always auto-spins, making it more like a area polygon. If multiple Quad Squares are around, they can create heavy bullet storms. Quad Squares commonly spawns with other Defenseful Squares, or in the Square Nest or even with other squares in general. These move quite slow, and it is quite frail. However it can overwhelm you in numbers.
- Ship Square:These resemble the Tier 2 tank Ship, with 6 cannons, 3 on each sides. The Ship Square, unlike it's brethren, don't always fire it's cannons. Instead, when it died, it will fire a mass of bullets, either in the same way as the 5-Ship, firing 10 fast bullets, 5 on each direction, or it could fire a mass of 6 Bees scattering everywhere, or it could fire 4 Squares. Be wary that if the Ship Square fired those, there's a 33% chance for a Square to be defenseful, and therefore a 8.25% chance for another Ship Square to spawn, causing chaos. You must be careful if many Ship Square's cannons are aimed at your direction. Thankfully it auto-spins like the other Defenseful Square.
- Protector Square:It has a total of 4 weapons, alternating between Trap Launchers and Auto-Turrets. The trap launchers fire traps that are slow, and tanky, but it reloads slow. The Auto-Turrets have a wide FoV, bullets are fast and damaging. Thankfully it shoots those bullets at a very slow rate, and the 2 auto-turrets can't aim at your direction. The Protector Square is the slowest Defenseful Square too. However it's trap persist on it's death, and multiple Protector Squares can cause trouble to kill.
- Smasher Square:It looks like a Smasher, except that it is square, and the shell is octagonal. The shell only shows greatly on the 4 edges of the square. They always have auto-spin on, like it's brethren. It's attacking style is simple, ram. It has double the speed of the Ship Square (second fastest), and as fast as a Large Crasher. It also ignores knockback, has double the health and double the ram of the other Defenseful Polygons (which in turn has nearly triple the health and nearly double the ram of a regular Square) Thankfully, because it can only ram, you can destroy it a little easier if it's going in groups. Be wary of it's speed though, and the Smasher Square's square wave movement.
Defenseful Triangles[]
- Heavy Triangle:Looks like a regular Triangle until you got close to it. Then it will reveal it's weapons, which happens to have 3 large, short barrels like the Elite Destroyer. It always auto-spins, and is slow. It shoots it's bullets rather slowly, about the speed of the Elite Destroyer's devestator cannon takes to reload. The bullets themselves are also slow. To compensate for this, however, the bullets themselves deal a lot of damage, equal to a level 45 glass-cannon Basic bullet. It's penetration is also enough to tank 2 Basic bullets. If multiple Heavy Triangles or just any other Defenseful Shapes are around, they can create tanky bullet storms that are hard to penetrate. Heavy Triangles commonly spawns with other Defenseful Triangles, or in the Inferior Triangle Nest or even with other triangles in general. These have 12 health, and reward you 300 EXP on death. However, be careful of their bullets.
- Divisor Triangle:It's back sides have a Spawner on each side, and it's front side has 2 spikes protruding out of it's very edges. It might look weak, but the Divisor Triangles are actually strong. It's back Spawners can spawn up to 4 mini-triangles. These act like Overseer drones, does not despawn, and the drones are fast. However, their damage is weak, each mini-triangle's HP is only 10, it's ram damage being 6, so you can quickly clear out them. However, the Divisor Triangle spawns them quite quick. It's front side might look innocent, but don't be fooled by the 2 spikes. It is able to fire a single hitscan attack, that has the nature of instantenous hitting, and these deal the same damage as a Gunner bullet with 6 points into damage. The attack has a very high penetration, but very little damage. It can penetrate spread bullet spams like a Penta Shot. Only concentrated bullet spam like Redistributor or all Destroyer-classes can block the hitscan attack. It is mildly annoying to deal with.
- Tri-Knight:It has 3 Lances sticking out of it, sort of like a triangle version of the Paladin (tank). It does not fire 3 bullets upon charging ends though, the Tri-Knight has the second fastest base speed, but it is able to charge. When it charges, it's speed surpasses the Flanker Triangle, and it auto-spins at a much faster pace. It can charge to 3 seconds, and after that it can't charge for another 5 seconds. It auto-spins the fastest normally, it's lance can destroy bullets, but at a slow pace. The Tri-Knight will stop at a Builder box though, to destroy the box. You can take advantage of the AI and kill the Tri-Knight. But it won't go down easily, as it has 18 HP, nearly double that of the other Defenseful Triangles.
- Flanker Triangle:This variant has a single propelling Machine Gun cannon on the back. It's front sides have 2 small cannons, looking like a Single. This variant is the fastest base-speed, as it's speed is equal to that of a Large Crasher. It's AI is unique. It orbits the Triangle Nest slowly, or any polygon types. Unlike the others, the Flanker Triangle has weapons before it got activated. It will attack like a ship, orbiting it's enemy, firing it's cannon. Either that, or attacking like Crashers. It's Machine Gun cannon can fire bullets at a rapid pace, and also has high recoil, allowing the Flanker Triangle to catch up to fast enemies. It's flank cannons shoots slow, but it's bullet is fast, and it can deal heavy damage. This design was to ensure the flanks. Multiple Flanker Triangle can render tanks can't attack from it's flanks, so they have to attack the front. The Flanker Triangle does not have auto-spin on.
Defenseful Rhombus[]
- Overflank Rhombus:Looks like a regular Rhombus until you got close to it. Then it will reveal it's weapons, which happens to have 2 tiny Drone Spawners on the back, and 2 Cannons on the front and back of the Rhombus. It does not auto-spin, and is rather fast. The tiny drones that the Rhombus spawns has the same power as a small Crasher, and it has limited time before despawning, like the Swarm Drones. The Rhombus spawns it's drones every 2 seconds, and the drones last 10 seconds. The drones are slow, in fact, slower than a Large Crasher. The front and back cannons deal rather large damage, as much as a 6 in damage Gunner bullet. They also fire every second, in addition to it's drones. If multiple Overflank Rhombuses or just any other Defenseful Shapes are around, that renders all attacks from the back useless. Overflank Rhombuses commonly spawns with other Defenseful Rhombuses, or in the Inferior Rhombus Nest or even with other rhombus in general. These have 36 health, and reward you 750 EXP on death. However, be careful of their bullets.
- Doblon Rhombus: It's shape looks similar to the ships from Doblons.io It has 2 medium-sized cannons, on each sides. It also has a grey circle on top of it. The Doblon Rhombuses are the slowest out of the Defenseful Rhombuses, and this is why. It's side cannons are really powerful. They have the same power as a Gunner bullet, with 6 on weapon damage. These fire once per 3 seconds, which means it fires slowly. Each bullet is fast, can travel at the same speed as a 4 bullet speed Gunner. The grey circle is for decoration, and does not do anything, but the Doblon Rhombus, rather than trying to ram an enemy, it surrounds it's enemy like ships surrounding a island. They fire their ammunition. Doblon Rhombuses can survive for a while, with it's 85 HP, nearly double that of other Defenseful Rhombuses.
- Sharpshooter Rhombus: It has 2 large propelling cannons that propell it foward, like a Tri-Angle. On the front of it is a single Ranger turret in front of it, which is long. It's AI, rather than trying to ram you, goes out on a hit-and-run AI. When it's not fired at, the Sharpshooter Rhombus will stand at a long (often full FoV of a Sniper) range, then attacking you with it's bullets. When it is attack, it turns around and retreats, until it found another safe spot again. When it's HP is at 30%, it will spin a few times, then suddenly dash at you with 200% speed. and shooting at you in a desperate attempt to kill you. The propell cannons don't do any damage at all, they deal zero damage, and has limited penetration and speed. However, it's recoil helps the Sharpshooter Rhombus to run from enemies. The Ranger cannon does as much damage as a full glass-cannon Gunner bullet for each, but the Sharpshooter fires only once every 5 seconds, which means it needs time to attack again. However, it's bullet is fast, equal to that of a full bullet speed Basic bullet.
- Submarine Rhombus:It has 2 small cannons and 1 cosmetic long cannon on the front. 2 side spikes on the back sides and a single machine gun cannon on the back. Submarine Rhombuses have the ability to be invisible to enemies. It will move at only 20% speed, to stalk an enemy. When attacked. Submarine Rhombuses fire slow, but damaging torpedoes. These torpedoes are rather powerful, but can explode into a small area. The Submarine Rhombuses fire these torpedoes at a mediocre pace, 3 seconds per 2 bullets shot, which is still deadly. The cosmetic long front barrel and the triangles don't do anything. The back Machine Gun cannon have zero reload, which means it fires super fast. However, the bullet damage and penetration is zero, as soon as a bullet is released from the back side, it disappears immeadely. The bullets's size are big, but has zero recoil too, meaning they're for cosmetic purporses.
Defenseful Pentagons[]
- Auto Pentagon:Looks like a regular Pentagon until you got close to it. Then it will reveal it's weapons, which happens to have 5 small Auto Turrets, one on each side of it. These act like those on the Auto-5's. It always auto-spins, and is slow. It is the second slowest Defenseful Pentagon. Each tiny bullet does the same damage as a Gunner bullet with 3 in damage stats, and penetration is the same. but the Auto Pentagon shoots it's bullets quite fast, as equal as a reload 4 Basic. Bullets are even faster, equal to a bullet speed of 6. If multiple Auto Pentagons or just any other Defenseful Shapes are around, they can attack you from every direction with it's small, and strong bullets. Auto Pentagons commonly spawn with other other Defenseful Pentagons, or in the Pentagon Nest or even with other pentagons in general. These have 60 health, and reward you 1.500 EXP on death. However, be careful of their auto bullets, and it's reload.
- Griever Pentagon:It has a grappling hook on the front, similar to those of the Griever's, hence it's name. It also has 4 short cannons on the remaining sides of it. It does not auto-spin. The Griever Pentagon is the slowest out of the Defenseful Pentagons, and this is why. It's Griever cannon, when fired, cannot be destroyed in any way. It fires an arrow-shaped object, looking similar to the Phasers crasher. It cannot be broken in any way, and the Griever Pentagon won't forgive you and continue hooking onto you. It will also turn itself, making the player ram onto multiple Pentagons, potentially killing them. The 4 side barrels are also powerful. Their reload is slower, but has more damage and penetration than the Auto Pentagon bullets, and speed is the same. They are for preventing other Tanks from killing it while it's attacking another player. When multiple Griever Pentagons are hooking a player, he/she will be dragged faster and harder.
- Sentry Pentagon:It has a large, pentagonal shell sticking out of it's sides, with a larger Auto Turret on top of it. The Sentry Pentagon is the fastest Defenseful Pentagons, when it has the same speed as the regular full-movement speed Tank. It is also the tankiest Pentagon, at 85 health, and it's ram damage is 9. The Sentry Pentagon's auto-turret is stronger than those of the Auto-Pentagons, but it's bullet firepower compared to other Defenseful Pentagons is weak. The Sentry Pentagon, when trying to ram you, will spin very, very fast, before charging right at you. It can't turn while it's ramming you, so a quick side dodge will be fine. It's Auto-Turret is also a trouble, and the Sentry Pentagon was designed to tank for it's teammates.
- Carrier Pentagon: It's 2 back sides has a large cannon, and the remaining 3 sides has a Crasher spawner. The Carrier Pentagon is the second fastest Defenseful Pentagon. However it does not like to ram you. Instead, it stands at a certain distance, using it's Crashers to directly attack you. The Crashers that it spawns has the same stats as regular Crashers. Carrier Pentagon can spawn up to 9 Crashers. It spawns these Crashers slowly. These act like Overseer's drones, meaning that they will not despawn. The back cannons is very powerful, having the same stats as Heavy Triangle's cannons. It also reloads slow, and has high recoil, allowing for the Carrier Pentagon to jump. When alone, the Carrier Pentagon will send 6 of it's Crashers outside, leaving three to defend it. When with other Defenseful Pentagons, the Carrier Pentagon will send all of it's Crashers forwards. When low-health, even with teammates, the Carrier Pentagon will try to run away, with all of it's Crashers defending it.
Defenseful Hexagons[]
- Combo Hexagon:Looks like a regular Hexagon until you got close to it. Then it will reveal it's weapons, which happens to have 3 large cannons and 3 small Auto Turrets, switching side by side. It also has a larger Auto-Turret on top of it. It also acts like the Auto Pentagon (mentioned above). It always auto-spins, and is the second fastest of the Defenseful Hexagons. It's stationary cannons rather does large damage, each having the same bullet damage as a Basic with 4 in bullet damage. It also fires fast, about as equal reload spend. It's small auto-cannons fires as fast, but has faster bullets than the stationary cannons. In return, it has smaller damage (slightly higher than Auto Pentagon's auto-turrets). than the cannons. The top turret fires slowly (about as slow as a Destroyer with 0 reload), but it has the fastest and strongest bullets. It's bullets are as fast as a Basic with full bullet speed, and as strong as a 6 in bullet speed. If multiple Combo Hexagons or just any other Defenseful Shapes are around, they can create bullets that deals high damage and can kill smaller tanks quickly. Combo Hexagons spawn anywhere, but more commonly spawns inside Superior Hexagon Nests and with other Defenseful Hexagons nearby. It has 180 health and has 7.500 EXP on death, really useful for score farming. Be careful of the damage that the Combo Hexagon can do, however.
- Swarmist Hexagon: It has three Swarm Drone spawners, arranged like a Flank Guard. It also has three regular Drone spawners, and on top of them are a small barrel. The Swarmist Hexagon also auto-spins. Swarmist Hexagon is the second slowest out of the four Defenseful Polygon variants. It's swarm drones deal little damage, about as half as a small Crasher, but it's drones are fast, about faster than a small Crasher. It spawns these drones at a fast pace, about as fast as a Cruiser with 6 in spawn rate. The large spawners, has as much reload as a Director with 6 in spawn rate. It can hold up to 6 drones, and each drones deal as much damage as a Pounder with 3 in damage. It's speed is the same as a Director drone. It's small cannons are weaker than those from the Combo Hexagon, about 35% weaker, but it is still strong. It likes to hide behind other Polygons or tanky Defenseful Shapes to send it's drones. It sends it's drones to attack on your flanks, so be wary.
- Turtle Hexagon: It is slow. It has four small Drone Spawners on the four sides of it. It also has a large cannon on it's front, and a trap launcher on it's back, and it has a large auto-turret on top of it. The small Drone Spawners spawns drones at a slow pace, slower than Swarmist Hexagon. It also has slightly weaker damage than usually. But it's drones are faster than the Swarmist Hexagon's. The front cannon is powerful, about as powerful as a Combo Hexagon's cannon, but it shoots faster and has faster bullets. The trap launcher spawns traps that are about the same power as a regular Trapper. The traps however, is significantly slower and the Turtle Hexagon can only spawn up to 8 traps. The top cannon shoots bullets that are as strong as the Combo Hexagon's, but it's bullets are slower. The Turtle Hexagon is the slowest Defenseful Hexagon, and is overall the tankiest, with 240 HP to endure combat. Turtle Hexagon likes to use itself as meatshield for other Hexagon crashers.
- Accelerator Hexagon:It has 6 large spikes on it's sides. On it's back are three large cannons, with the very back cannon been longer than the other two large cannons. These cannons have the same recoil as a Destroyer normally, shoots very slowly, but the cannons only deal up to glass cannon Pounder damage. The Accelerator Hexagon is the fastest Defenseful Hexagon, and it's ram is deadly. When the Accelerator Hexagon stops moving, it's about to fire all of it's large cannons simutaniously. When it fires, the massive recoil pushes the Accelerator Hexagon fowards, usually to a tank. It does not auto-spin.
Defenseful Heptagons[]
From now on, Defenseful Polygons from Heptagon onwards will be rarer, since they will likely become mini-bosses. Their health multiplier will be reduced to only x2 now.
- Obliterate Hexagon:Looks like a regular Heptagon until you got close to it. Then it will reveal it's weapons, which happens to have 7 large, short Destroyer cannons, a small shell, and a large two-cannoned Auto Turret on top of it. It always auto-spins, and is the slowest Defenseful Heptagon. It's Destroyer cannons have the same power as a regular Destroyer bullet with full glass-cannon stats, but it reloads 2x slower than the Destroyer tank. It's Flank-Pounder turret has the same power as a Pounder's bullet, and reloads as fast, but it always auto-spins, which leads to most of it's bullets missing the players. If multiple Obliterate Heptagons or just any other Defenseful Shapes are around, it's bullets can cause massive damage to any players, and it can kill glass cannons if not cautious! Obliterate Heptagons spawn anywhere, but more commonly spawns inside Superior Heptagon Nests and with other Defenseful Heptagons nearby. It has 360 health and 10.000 EXP if killed, so this can help well in scoring! If you manage to kill it first.
- Producer Heptagon: It has 7 medium-sized Spawners, and a Auto-Turret, that has five cannons arranged in order. The spawners spawns Groupers in both sizes. There can be up to 16 groupers surrounding it. Producer Heptagon spawn these Groupers slowly, but in packs of seven at a time, so overall it spawns the Producer Heptagon produces heptagons fast. The auto-turret's bullets are quite powerful. Each bullet does as much damage as a Combo Hexagon's cannons. It also fires these bullets at a rapid pace, but it also always auto-spins, so the damage is infrequent. Producer Heptagons are the second slowest Defenseful Heptagons. It often navigates around the Superior Heptagon Nests slowly. When encountering a player, it sends all of it's Groupers in front of the enemy. Like the Swarmist Hexagon, it likes to stand far behind it's teammates, sending all of it's drones forwards.
- Smasher Heptagon:It has a large heptagonal shell which largely protrudes out of each of it's sides. It also has a smaller heptagonal layer, on top if it is another heptagon layer. It ends in a circle layer. The Smasher Hexagon is the second fastest Defenseful Heptagon. It also has the most health, at 425 HP, and it's body damage is the heaviest. The Smasher Heptagon, besides trying to usually ram you like Smasher Square, can also spin very fast, before charging right at you. It cannot turn while it's charging at you, so a quick side dodge will be fine. It can also attack by bouncing itself onto several Heptagons, five times, before the last one charges straight at you. It only uses that attack if it's in a Superior Heptagon Nest. The heptagons, rather than flying away, acts more like a Trap, stopping after a certain distance. Touching the Smasher Heptagon is very dangerous, since it's ram damage can kill you very quickly, unless you're a Armorrammer.
- Devil Heptagon:It has two larger cannons on it's sides. On top of the cannons are two large Drone Spawners. On the back of it are two small cannons. The small cannons has zero damage, but it propels the Devil Heptagon slower than an Tri-Angle, but it is faster than regular full-speed tanks. It's large cannons are really powerful, having the same damage and penetration as an Annihilator cannon, but it's bullet is slower, and it reloads extremely slowly. The large spawners only spawn large Disrupters. and the Devil Heptagon can spawn up to 4 of them. It also spawns these drones very slowly. It is the fastest Defenseful Heptagon, and unlike the other Defenseful Heptagons, Devil Heptagon usually go alone, and after 5 hours of searching for threats, it goes back to the Superior Heptagon Nest. Devil Heptagon attacks like Doblon Rhombuses, but much, much stronger.
Defenseful Octagons[]
Nerfed to 1.5x again.
- Array Octagon:Looks like a regular Octagon until you got close to it. Then it will reveal it's weapons, which happens to have four very short, but large cannons, and four missile launchers alternating between eachother. It also has a lavender octagon on top of it. The lavender octagon does not do anything, it's just for decoration. The large cannons are stronger than Obliterate Heptagon's cannons, but reloads far slower. The main threat are the missile launchers. Each missiles can home in onto you, does as much damage as a Pounder bullet with 5 in stats, and the missiles home onto you FOREVER, ignoring any Obstacles or even the Base. Thankfully, the Arras Octagon cannot fire all of it's cannons. The Array Octagon has four target points, which looks like the usual target points that you see. When a target point is pointed onto you, one of the array cannons fire in your direction, and the remaining target points will slowly go to your direction. It has the same speed as all other Defenseful Octagons It has 450 HEALTH, and 50.000 EXP on death. Now you know why there's no Defenseful Nonagons now.
- Oct-Spreader:It is basically Octo Tank, but way stronger. It has 8 medium-sized cannons, placed on the sides. It also has a Quad Tank auto-turret, that constantly rotates counter-clockwise. The medium-cannons fire at a medium pace, and has fast bullets. These bullets deal 50% more damage than an average Octo Tank, but fires slower. The Quad Tank auto-turret fires faster, but has way slower bullets, and it's bullets are slightly weaker. These are powerful in all directions, but if you attack it in one direction, you can kill it.
- Auto-Octo: It has four Auto-4 auto-turrets, but longer. It also has four regular Auto-Turrets. The Auto-Octo's Auto-4 turrets fire faster than a regular Auto-4, and it's bullets is equal to that of a pure glass-cannon Auto-4. The auto-turrets, however, is weaker. It fires bullets at a moderate pace, and the bullets are fast, however the bullets are only as strong as Combo Hexagon's cannon. The Auto-Octo's auto-turrets all have limited angle to attack you, and it itself is weaker than the rest. However it can kill you if there's two of them.
- Swarmlord Octagon:It has a total of 12 Swarm Drone spawners, three on each sides. It also has four large drone spawners. The swarm drone spawners spawn the drones rather slowly, 100% slower than a Cruiser. But it's swarms are faster, and the damage for each swarm drone is large, about as much as a Director drone, but the penetration is limited. The drone spawners spawns a total of 4 Crashers:Phasers, Crushers, Decontrollers and Assassinators. It can have up to 3 of each, up to 12 drones. All of the crashers are large. The Swarmlord Octagon likes to send it's crashers to attack from the flanks, while the swarm drones attack from the front.
Strategy[]
Defenseful Polygons can range from very weak to powerful. Make sure to go in groups when you're fighting Defenseful Hexagons and upwards. Don't underestimate what the Defenseful Polygons can do either, as they are powerful in groups, and can overwhelm you quickly.
Trivia[]
- These polygons were made, because of inspiration.
- I was inspired by the Prototype Polygons page, and so i decided to make it.
- Defenseful Eggs cannot exist. That's due to them been so defenseless even adding weapons won't chance it's fragile and immature nature.
- Defenseful Nonagons and above also can't exist, due to them been so powerful later on, adding weapons makes leveling a challenge, and it gets harder and harder with each higher-tier polygon.
- Ship Squares are inspired by the Ship branch.
- Doblon Rhombuses are based off of the ships from Doblons.io. The game is unfortunately dead. It is also inspired by the Doblon tank.
- Carrier Pentagons are based off of the Carriers from Cosmic Mode.
- Combo Hexagons are inspired by the Arras.io Arms Race tank Combo.
- Turtle Hexagons are inspired by the currently removed Woomy tank Turtle.
- Devil Heptagons are based off the Devil tank, also from Woomy.
- Swarmlord Octagons are basically Swarmist Hexagons but without the cannons, and has 8 extra drone spawners.
