The Fort is one of the current Tier 4 ugrades from the Tri-Trapper. You might be confused, but Trapper is tier 2 in my AU. It may not upgrade any further.
The Fort could be called "Mini Base" due to these 3 factors, 1:It has a chance to spawn new players next to it like a factory, much higher chance though, 2:it has a nearly impenetrable wall and 3:it spawns short ranged but tough AI drones, its Traps last 12 secs but are 50% as strong as a normal trap, its drones act the same as a Protector, they have approximately 100 HP and have a short range, The Auto Turrets are weak but reload quickly, they only target tanks though, and crashers/bosses.
Weak Against:Nearly every single Unstable Tank, long range tanks, fighters.
As the Fort[]
First of all, take advantage of being able to create a mini base and make on in the Pentagon Nest, your turrets can open fire on the crashers while your allies can safely benefit, and when the nest is contested your allies can safely open fire on the enemy and heal.
This tank is not recommended to be used in FFA or Maze due to the fact that everyone is your enemy and traps die to the walls in maze, however with a rammer build you can trick lower level rammers to attack you and get kiled
In Domination when your team is losing guard the dominator closest to your base using your traps so your team can farm safely and defend the dominator.
Against the Fort[]
Taking out a Fort is hard in many cases due to the high likelyness they have allies with them, to engage a Fort with allies bring another fort and a group of a few triplets/sprayers, Spread Shots Penta Shots and at least 1 ranger/predator to have a chance.
In FFA or Maze use a Twin with bullet stacking (spam E until both barrels fire at the same time) to easily kill it, other focused fire tanks work as well.
In Domination to kill a losing teams Fort always use a predator, you can damage the Dominator(s), the fort and its allies easily beware of Rammers who can flank you like boosters.
The Best way to deal with a lone Fort is a Fighter or a Skimmer.
