The Heater is a Tier 3 tank conceptualized by Onett4smash and contributed to by Raspbelle as part of the Defend the Center game mode. It upgrades from the Incendiary and Machine Gun at level 30 and upgrades to the Firestarter at level 45.
Design[]
The Heater has a grey trapezoid attached to an orange shape as its Fire Cannon. It fires fire bullets, which are orange.
Technical[]
The Heater fires fire bullets in a machine gun spray with a wide angle. Each bullet deals fairly minor damage, but inflicts burn. Like with the Incendiary, the Heater's bullets do not penetrate targets, and disappear upon hitting the first target. The Bullet Penetration stat is replaced with the Burn Stack stat. For the Heater, the amount of burn that can stack is double the number of upgrades poured into Burn Stack - a maximum 7 Burn Stack will allow 14 stacks of burn to stack onto a single enemy.
Strategy[]
- The Heater deals strong damage, especially against singular targets that burn can be stacked onto.
- As it lacks bullet penetration, the Heater is not as effective at dealing with groups of weak enemies as the Machine Gun. It is still good for hordes, though, due to the wide spread and great number of bullets.
