Hide and seek is a fanon diep.io gamemode made by FredLeon.

Overwiev

There are 2 teams in hide and seek, monsters and hiders.

Monsters

The Monsters have to find and kill hiders, there are usually 1-3 monsters per map , it depends on the map's size.

Monsters win if all the hiders are killed, if less than 50% of total hiders escape throught the blue platform it is a draw

When the game begins 1-3 players will be chosen to be the monster , the chosen players will then be presented to a screen where they will be able to choose what type of monster they want to play.

MonsterSelection

there are 3 types of monsters you can play with, the yellow stabber, green gunner and red sniper.

Monsters have a field of view of 170 to 185 degrees , monsters will only be able to see players if they are in the monster's field of view, additionally monsters can see trough obstacles but not trough walls.

Yellow Stabber : the yellow stabber is the fastest of all monsters, it has a spike on the front that deals damage to hiders. It has a FOV of 170 degrees

Green Gunner : the green gunner has 3 barrels on the front, this monster has the highest DPS of all monsters , if a hider finds itself in front of the green gunner without anywhere to hide they won't be able to run away.

Red Sniper : the red sniper is the slowest of the monsters , still it is as fast as a normal hider, it has a long sniper barrel on the front, its bullets can pierce through a wall , in addition this monster can has an increased view range.

Monster can still be killed but have a lot of health, the health varies by how many monsters there are i the map , 1 monster will have 30000 HP, 2 monsters will have 15000 HP each and 3 monsters will have 10000 HP each.

if they are killed though they will get a respawn cooldown of 20 seconds.

When, A monster kills a hider , that hider becomes a monster's minion, the type of minion depends on the type of monster, a minion has 600 HP, minion have only a 7 second respawn cooldown, if they are killed again they will get a +1 second cooldown to a maximum of 10 seconds.

Hiders

The hiders have to hide from the monsters , there are 10-30 hiders per map , it depends on the map's size.

when the game begins a timer will appear at the top of the screen , the timer is 2 minutes for small maps, 2 and half for medium maps and 3 for big maps , when the timer runs out blue platforms on the map will open and players will be able to escape through them, hiders win if at least 50% of the hiders get through the blue platform, if less than 50% of total hiders escape through the blue platform it is a draw.

When a Hiders HP goes down to 0 they will get knocked out , another hider can recover a knocked down hider , it takes 5 seconds to recover a knocked down hider, a knocked down hider will has 1000 HP and will lose 20 HP every second if , if a knocked down's hider HP reaches 0 they will die and will be able to spectate other hiders, during recovery knocked down hiders won't lose any HP.

When the game begins the hiders willl be presented to a screen where they will be able to choose what type of class they want to play.

TanksSelection

there are 5 types of classes you can play with, the twin, lancer, builder, medic and techncian

Twin : the twin has a very high dps, dealing 150 DPS , it also has 30% more HP than any other class.

Lancer : the lancer is a very fast tank, it is faster than the green gunner but slower than the yellow stabber, its only way to deal damage is with the spike on the front.

Builder : The builder can place blocks in front of them, a builder can have a maximum of 3 blocks on the map, a builder can place blocks with right click and destroy the oldest block with middle click, a block has 200 HP , a block is still an obstacle so monsters will still be able to see through them.

Medic : the medic can heal damaged hiders, it can also recover knocked down hiders , it takes 3 seconds for a medic to recover a knocked down hider, additionally if a medic recovers a knocked down hider but then goes away the hider's recover time won't reset.

Technician : the techncian can place radars on the floor, if monsters are in the radar's detection range they will be shown on the minimap of every hider, radars have 200 HP, every technician can have a maximum of 3 radars on the map, right click to place a radar and middle click to remove the oldest one, additionally a techncian can place a turret that deals 50 DPS, it has 500 HP, every technician can have a maximum of 1 turret on the map, with Z you can place a turret and with X you can destroy it.

Other

Obstacles

Monsters and hiders can't go through obstacles but can see through them, example for obstacles are barrels and small trees.

Bushes

Bush

Hiders can hide in bushes, monsters can still see through them but won't see inside the bush unless they go insite it.

Maps

There are 3 types of maps, small, medium and big.

small maps will contain 10 hiders and only 1 monster.

medium maps have 20 hiders and 2 monsters.

big maps have 30 hiders and 3 monster.

when entering a match of hide and seek players will first need to select what type of map they want to play.
