The Machine Gun X is one of the Tier 5 upgrades from Sprayer. It features the potential to have an indefinite array of Machine Gun Cannons that extend forever forward. The Machine Gun X has no upgrades as of now. This tank was created by Toriellabella.

Design[]

The Machine Gun X features a circular body as a base. Mounted upon the front is a trapezoidal Cannon. Mounted on top of this cannon is a smaller rendition of it. Mounted on top of this smaller rendition is an even smaller rendition. This goes on ad infinitum. Due to the size of each cannon becoming smaller and smaller, these cannons have the capacity to fit within a finite space.

From Sprayer[]

Sprayer's diminutive cannon is replaced with an indefinite cascade of cannons.

Technical[]

When you upgrade into this tank, your reload disappears. The stats you have put into reload may be freely redistributed towards your other stats. When you first fire as this tank, only the biggest barrel fires and the reload is very pitiful at a bullet per second. This reload is half of Tank's reload with no points invested into the reload stat. The twist comes in when you fire over time. Every few seconds you are firing, the second largest barrel grows to be the size of the main barrel and it's now able to fire. The more time you spend firing, the more cannons are added onto the array you have already generated. The reload cycle of these barrels fit into the gaps between the other barrels, meaning that your firing rate effectively increases the more barrels you have. The more barrels you have, the more time it takes for another to be added. If you have over 20 barrels, you start to lose health due to the amount of weight you are carrying. Along with these two pitfalls, if your health manages to drop below half, you begin to lose cannons. This way, the tank can have the capacity to have indefinite firepower, but it's still manageable to beat.

Strategy[]

As the Machine Gun X[]

  • Stay out of the way and fire to build up a repertoire of barrels to demolish the arena!
  • Avoid any polygon and any hazards you possibly can. Remember, if you lose enough health, you'll begin losing your firepower.
  • If you have enough firepower, you can overwhelm any tank that gets in your way.
  • For spamming tanks like Triplet and Spread Shot, you can easily just point and get away with demolishing them.
  • For singular shot tanks like Annihilator, you can easily defeat their bullet with your immense firepower.
  • If you happen to be low on firepower due to sustained damage from any of your weaknesses, stay away, go to the border of the map, and fire out of bounds. This will maximize the chances of enemies finding you from loose bullets.

Against the Machine Gun X[]

  • If you are a Ranger or a Predator, you can use your immense field of vision to your advantage. If you see a Machine Gun X wrecking the arena, all you have to do is manage to land one shot on it; If the Machine Gun X doesn't die from this, its rate of fire will still be at least halved.
  • If you are any form of drone tank, especially Necromancer, Battleship, and Factory, you'll easily be able to land some hits on a Machine Gun X if they are distracted.
  • If you are a Skimmer, Rocketeer, or a Glider, you can intentionally make your bullet miss and then let the backup bullets hit the Machine Gun X. Then, rush them to secure a win.
  • If there are multiple Machine Gun Xs in one team, pray.

Trivia[]

  • This tank had a file listed under the name "Mchnx.jpg". During the wikia merge, however, this file was lost. This file counts as lost media as a result, as I have not saved any of my prior images and the tablet I made the original images on is sadly comatose.
  • According to the original page, this tank used to be a boss. I don't know how it would've worked if it stayed as a boss.
