The Mineplacer is a Tier 4 tank that can now actually place high-damaging, static mines, and they are nearly invisible. It also has a Auto Turret on top of it and strong ram damage, like the Rammer. It branches from Auto-Rammer at Level 45, and it might not upgrade anymore.

Design[]

The Mineplacer's design is different from the Auto-Rammer's design. Firstly, it has a second Rammer shell, and unlike the Landmine, it can't go invisible. Secondly, the secondary Rammer shell rotates the opposite direction from the main shell. Third, it's Auto Turret is now golden, instead of grey. It can place mines, which looks simillar to the Mineplacer itself, except that it's Cannon is gone, and it only has 6 shell, and it's shell is one instead of seperately.

Technical[]

The Mineplacer, asides from the main Mounted Turret that is not buffed, it also has a special ability. You cannot aim the Mounted Turret anymore, but have the ability to place mines down. These mines, to the enemy, is almost invisible, but to you, you can see it clear enough. These mines, when touched or destroyed, explodes. The explosion does a lot of damage, equal to a glass-cannon Pounder bullet. They are also nearly invisible, meaning that if an enemy is unaware, he/she will run into a mine. The Mineplacer can place up to 8 mines. When you try to place a 9th one, the first one explodes. You can make all of them explode by pressing right-click. The Mineplacer, when placing a mine, will flash it's auto-turret to orange for a short while, before placing down the mine. The Mineplacer's bullets fired from it's auto turret is also gold.

Strategy[]

Mineplacer's mine

A Mineplacer mine, to a Mineplacer itself. If it was a different tank, it will be nearly invisible.

  • Strong Against:Tri-Angle branches, other Rammer branches, Unaware tanks, Sniper, Reckless Destroyers
  • Weak Against:Split branches, Hexa Tank classes, Aware Destroyers, Smart tanks.

As the Mineplacer[]

  • You must be smart in using this tank. The Mineplacer is powerful, but it is hard to use. Your mines can kill players quickly, but you place them slowly and they're static. You must plan out your strategies in order to win a battle. This tank is strong, but hard to use.
  • You can now counter Tri-Angle branches, as even though they go really fast, they are almost reckless on many occasions, as a result you wanted to trap them with your deadly mines. You can try to place multiple mines on the Tri-Angle's escape route, then try to chase it, distracting it to your minefield.
  • Asides from your mines, your Auto-Turret is a lot stronger than the Diep.io Auto Smasher. You can also use it in battle. However, 8 to 10 on the bullet stats is enough if you use a bullet build, because you need movement speed, bullet speed, and acceleration.
  • The Mineplacer can also ram, and if utilizing a Rammer build with the Mineplacer, use the Auto-Turret to pinpoint targets and hunt them. Despite that, it is still preferable to stick to either a melee or ranged stat build, as trying to make it a jack-of-all-trades tend to fail a lot due to lacking enough upgrade points for both, and the mines are also unaffected by any stats.
  • You still counter Sniper branches or even Destroyers if you have set up a plan to kill them. For Snipers, you can simply chase them whilst using your Auto-Turret to pinpoint them. For Destroyers, you needed a plan and being smart in using your mines to defeat them. For that it's bullets deal a lot of damage to you, as a result you wanted to place multiple mines on the Destroyer's escape route.

Against a Mineplacer[]

  • You can clear a Mineplacer's mines using a bullet spammer. Be careful though, as even one mine deals serious damage to you. You must fire in every direction to hit a mine or so. If fighting a Mineplacer, you must constantly attack the Mineplacer itself while paying attention for it's mines.
  • You can use any tanks that branches from the Hexa Tank to detect any of the Mineplacer's mines. It hard-counters the Mineplacer, due to the fact that it's bullets are stronger than Mineplacer's, and it's deadliest weapon, the mines, are always detected. If you wanted to kill the Mineplacer, get close to it and corner it.
  • Be aware. The Mineplacers are known to be smart and will try to trap their opponent in their deadly mines. Watch out at all costs, for any mines that you might step in. Destroy those mines.
  • If you're a Destroyer, fighting the Mineplacer is difficult, but possible. First, know the presence of it's many mines, and remember their locations. Secondly, if you have engaged combat with a Mineplacer, be careful of it's mines, Remember their positions. Avoid the mines before the Mineplacer corners you in one of it's minefields. Third, don't fall to a Mineplacer's plan. Plan out your strategies, and then outsmart the Mineplacer into your trap. If you succeeded, you can kill the Mineplacer now!
  • Drone-classes can counter the Mineplacer too. Unlike other Rammer-class tanks, the Mineplacer cannot do much to attack you directly other than using it's auto-turret. You must stay far from the Mineplacer itself, defend yourself, remember where the mines are, and then attack it. If you use Necromancer, your many sunchips will be destroyed by the mines, so don't use it!

Trivia[]

  • The Mineplacer is an idea. It was inspired by the Minelayer (Tidal Wave) idea. Basically, it's a fusion between an Minelayer and a Auto-Rammer.
  • This tank is susposed to be a one that needs intellegence. It's mines are strong, and the Mineplacer can be OP if used by a smart player, but it is hard to use.
