The MultiBox is one of the Tier 4 upgrades from Tank. It features five distinct yet identical clones of the starting Tank. Each of these copies has one Cannon mounted upon the front. The MultiBox has no upgrades as of now. This tank was created by Toriellabella.
Design[]
Each unit of the MultiBox consists of a circular body as a base with one cannon mounted on the front. Each unit is proportionally identical to Tank's design.
From Tank[]
Upon upgrading, you become smaller.
Technical[]
The MultiBox is a small tank; in fact, it's the smallest playable tier 4 tank! One unit of the MultiBox is the size of a level 1 tank. You are able to shoot like normal but your bullet stats, excluding reload, are halved. Upon upgrading to the MultiBox, you'll just be one small tank with just one barrel. Over time, however, you will naturally "split" into numerous identical clones of yourself. Each one of these clones has very little health, and will usually die in one shot from most tanks. These clones, however, respawn fairly quickly. You have a maximum of four clones. These clones will follow your movements and point at the mouse cursor, just like yours.
Strategy[]
- Strong Against: Triple Shot branch, Trapper branch, Destroyer branch, close enemies
- Weak Against: Overseer branch, Assassin branch, area denial tanks, fast ramming tanks
As the MultiBox[]
- Your greatest strength is your ability to quickly replenish your supplies. Most of your firepower comes from your clones. Despite these clones having extremely low health they respawn quickly, meaning that you can consistently match and even outperform a good majority of your enemies.
- Tanks like Penta Shot and Spread Shot can easily be penetrated by the firepower presented by your small bullets. Be sure to aim properly!
- Trapper branch tanks, when caught off guard, can be easily defeated in a few shots. Due to your decreased size, you can easily weave between traps and shoot the enemy trapper.
- Tanks like Annihilator, which thrive off of being able to barely chip damage on someone due to their bullet size, will only be able to hit your clones unless they get a direct hit. Skimmer, Rocketeer, and Glider have better luck due to having auxiliary weapons on their missiles, but it's still difficult to accurately land a hit on the middle tank itself.
Against the MultiBox[]
- Drone tanks, such as Overlord, can easily tear through the defenses of an enemy MultiBox via their drones. Battleship especially can make easy work of defeating a MultiBox.
- If you are a Ranger, you can quickly snipe a distant MultiBox if you aim just right. Just make sure they don't get up close, because you will likely not survive if they do.
- Fast rammers, such as Booster or a high movement speed Spike can just completely ignore the clones and aim straight for an enemy MultiBox; You can consider these the most direct counter; Slower rammers, such as Mega Smasher don't do as well, but it's still definitely possible.
- Area denial tanks, such as Octo Tank, don't need to properly aim to shred away the clones of an enemy MultiBox. If you have even a little movement speed and little bullet speed, you can easily deplete a MultiBox of its clones and make quick work of the central tank itself.
Trivia[]
- This tank was revived during Woomy Arras as the Hivemind tank.
- This tank was initially meant to be Tier 2 and it had an assortment of upgrades. This was... A massive challenge to keep up with. So naturally, I didn't.
- For a while this page was adopted by User:ArenaCloser1337. In 2018. It's now 2023 and the page was never edited. I'm assuming it's fine for me to reclaim.
- This tank is directly inspired by the multiboxing epidemic in diep.io and its subsequent clones.
