Bounty Polygon

Description

Bounty Polygons are type of Polygons found only in Bounty Hunt. They are variations of all Polygons currently present in the game (except Crashers), and appear as white polygons (pale-green if a Green Polygon). Each Polygon has a chance to be a Bounty Polygon:

  • Square has 1/8 chance, and gives 1 bounty point.
  • Triangle has 1/16 chance, and gives 3 bounty points.
  • Pentagon and Alpha Pentagon have 1/32 chance, and gives 5 and 15 bounty points, respectively.
  • Green polygons that happened to be bounty polygons will have a pale-green color. However, destroying them only gives the amount of bounty points based on their shape, and such no multiplier or bonus point is given.
  • Crashers never spawn as bounty polygons.

Trivia

  • Being killed by a bounty polygon, the polygon will not be labelled as "Bounty (Polygon)", just what the shape of the polygon will show up.

  • Despite being Polygons, Fallen bosses, along with Polygon-Based ones, do not attack Evil Polygons

Trap Fragment

Description

Trap Fragments are trap-shaped (concave hexagon) Polygons that spawn uncommonly throughout the Arena except Pentagon Nest or if the game mode is Invasion, where they wouldn't not spawn totally. Cluster Polygons are large variants of either Yellow Squares, Red Triangles, or Blue Pentagons that, when destroyed, would split into three more of their respective polygon type. They look like the Polygon they take up as, but with a smaller one inside of them. When destroyed, they would give normal XP and score points of the polygon they take up as.

Green Cluster Polygon

Description

Green Cluster Polygon are the green variants of Cluster Polygon. Any player who found and destroyed it is considered lucky, as they would receive four times the XP and score points value of the Green Polygons.

Description

Neutral Protectors are Polygons that looks exactly like the Protectors in the Bases of most team game modes. They spawn extremely rare, and has lesser stats than regular Protectors to prevent them from being ultimately powerful. They do not spawn in Invasion, Domination and Tag.

TNT Square

Description

TNT Squares are variants of Squares that, when damaged by players, Protectors or Fallen Bosses, explode. They look like brown Squares with tampering labelled as 'TNT'. The explosion can damage anything, including other Polygons, but not Maze walls. In addition to their 10 EXP and score points upon destruction, any polygons, tanks, or Bosses caught and destroyed on the explosion would also give the summed up value of EXP and score points reward to the player who triggered the TNT Square.

Trivia

  • Its design resembles that of a wooden TNT crate.
    • Its health used to be significantly lower than Yellow Square, as to simulate dangerous consequences when not handled carefully because of extreme fragility. This was changed to match the default health of Yellow Square, as both are still fairly weak and can be destroyed in one shot by most tanks.
  • TNT stands for 'Trinitrotoluene', a highly-explosive chemical.

Tank Spirit

Description

Tank Spirits are special type of Polygons that attack any players who come in with their range. They look like Fallen (Basic) Tank that sometimes become translucent. They drift like other Polygons, but has random strength, and would give the amount of XP and score points based on their strength, ranging from 80 to 240.

Trivia

  • Although appearing like tanks, they are actually more of Polygons.
    • They cannot even played as when using Sandbox game mode and pressing \ key.
    • The Fallen Booster and Fallen Overlord attack them as well, and so the Tank Spirits try to fight back.
  • When killed by one of these, the death message would say that the player has been killed by a "Spirit"

Cottage Polygon

They give normal XP and score points, however.

Bomb Crasher

Description

Bomb Crashers are a variant of Crashers. 10% of Crashers spawning, regardless of size, has a chance to be Bomb Crashers. As their name implies, Bomb Crashers explode upon its health being depleted. The damage of the explosion is somewhat lesser than that of the Bomber tank, and can only damage players and Fallen Bosses. They have double the health of a Crasher, and also double the XP they give. They look like regular Crashers, but an aesthetic trapezoid base without any sort of cannons at their back is present.

Bar Magnet

Description

Bar Magnets are special kind of Polygons. They look like long cannons without host tanks (with the size of level 45), except the ends can be either blue or red. Depending on the color, they may either push (blue) or pull (red) nearby non-Polygon/neutral entities, such as player tanks, their ammunition, Fallen Bosses, and others. The pulling/pushing force has a range of around 20 tiles, and it becomes stronger as it goes to the middle. They have 200 health and awards 250 XP points to who destroyed them.

Trivia

  • In real life, a bar magnet have a north and south pole, which can either attract or repel other metallic objects, depending on which pole the metallic objects interact with.
    • The reason why Bar Magnets in this game can only either push or pull objects, but not both, is that affected objects may behave strangely, as they will be affected by both pushing and pulling force of the magnet.
      • Despite this, an unused code that appears to represent a Bar Magnet with both colors on its poles is found within the game's source file. It is unknown what does it do.

U-Magnet

Description

U-Magnets are stronger variant of Bar Magnets. As their name implies, they take on a U / horseshoe shape, and are larger than Pentagons. Like Bar Magnets, the ends can be either blue or red, which can, respectively, push or pull non-Polygon/neutral entities. The force range is larger, having around 50 tiles, and also gets stronger as it goes to the middle. U-Magnets have 500 health and awards 600 XP points upon destruction.

Trivia

  • In real life, just like bar magnets, a U-magnet (or horseshoe magnet) have a north and south pole, which can either attract or repel other metallic objects.
    • The same reason why Bar Magnets can only either push or pull objects but not both in this game applies for U-Magnet.
      • An unused code also exists for U-Magnets that have both red and blue poles within the game's source.

Propanetagon

Description

Propanetagons are variety of Pentagons that may spawn, having a chance to replace 5% of them (excluding those spawned in Pentagon Nest). They look like white Pentagons that have a Machine Gun cannon on one of their sides. Initially, Propanetagons drift around like other Polygons, but when shot or damaged by tanks or Fallen Bosses, it will start to fire its cannon really fast, but still retains where it faces before. The bullets do almost unnoticeable damage by themselves, but they set players on fire for a second. After around 2 seconds, the Propanetagon explodes, dealing a rather heavy damage and setting anything on fire, including other Polygons, from a small radius. If anything was destroyed in the explosion, its XP value would be awarded to the player who triggered the Propanetagon. Despite their normal size, Propanetagons have a health of 3,000, generally to prevent them from easily being destroyed before their self-destruction.

Trivia

  • The way how they react are based on propane tanks from the game Broforce.
    • Also, the Propanetagon's name is portmanteau of propane, a three-carbon alkane with the formula C3H8, and pentagon.
