Don't confuse this page with the Hadif's Rammer branch page. - hh (simplism)

The Rammer is the start of it's own branch. It is a Tier 2 tank that has a shell simillar to Smasher's, except that it is inferior via it's small square shell. It branches from Basic and it will upgrade to Smasher, Minimine, Bloodthirster, Duplex, Auto-Rammer and Armorrammer at Level 30. It replaces the Smasher when upgrading from Basic. In hh's Arras, the Rammer and Split co-exists as Tier 2 upgrades.

Design[]

It has a circle base, like any other tank, but the Rammer does not have barrels, therefore been barrel-less. However it has a unique feature. A small shell, protruding 4 near-black spikes. It relies on it's body as a weapon.

Technical[]

Having no weapons and ranged capabilities, the Rammer is a pure melee tank. Any of it's stats related to bullets and reload were removed, leaving 6 options - Health, Body Damage, Movement Speed, Engine Acceleration, Shield Regeneration and Shield Health. The Engine Acceleration replacing the Reload. It determines how quickly the Rammer can gain acceleration. It's base ram is stronger than regular tanks, and it has a maximum of 10 upgrade points for each. It also has a base FoV slightly higher than regular tanks, but is lower than Sniper's.

Strategy[]

  • Strong Against:Drone classes if used correctly, slower tanks, low RoF tanks
  • Weak Against:High RoF tanks, fast tanks, Destroyer/ Split class.

As the Rammer[]

  • Rammers should always be careful. If they engage a tank for too long and then attempt to retreat, the other tank can kill them before they make it out of bullet range.
  • Keep an eye on the maximum health and body damage. It is highly recommended to upgrade those stats, since they are both essential for taking out Polygons and defeating enemy tanks.
  • You should be careful when fighting Destroyer or Split classes too. They either have a super powerful bullet crippling you, or have powerful close-range damage, so you must be very skilled to kill them.
  • And when upgrading to Auto-Rammer, you must save some points to upgrading bullets.

Against the Rammer[]

  • Drone tanks should be wary of Rammers and keep their drones nearby, unless they are a very skilled player. Any tanks with high DPS can easily fend off any Rammer.
  • Use a fast tank to run away from this tank, such as the Tri-Angle.
  • Use a tank with high reload and/or close-range damage, such as the the Machine Gun and/or the Twin branched tanks. The Split branch also works.
  • Most of the times, Destroyer-classes also works. It's huge bullets can cripple the Rammer heavily, potentially killing them.

Upgrades[]

  • Smasher:The square shell is upgraded to a hexagonal one. Better ram, slightly better FoV, more upgrade points (12).
  • Fragrammer: The shell now looks like a irregular octagon. When it is hit, it releases Gunner's bullets on random directions.
  • Cleaver: It has a axe blade, similar to those of Executioners and the Guillotine. Fires the axe blade in a boomerang-pattern.
  • Duplex: It now has a lavender circle on top for decoration. Now has 2 mini-Rammer planets that acts like a mace. They are destroyable.
  • Auto-Rammer:It's turret is a regular turret instead of a Twin-like one.
  • Armorrammer:The rammer is slightly upgraded to a hexagon, and the shell is grey. It has 3 squares protruding out of it. Ignores knockback, and ram damage from Polygons. It has a 25% chance of reflecting bullets, up to Pounder-tier.

Trivia[]

  • This upgrade is meant to revolutionize ramming, as ramming is underrated compared to bullet spamming.
  • It took inspiration from the Pummeler branch, as well as being a c̶o̶m̶p̶l̶e̶t̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶p̶y̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶H̶a̶d̶i̶f̶T̶h̶e̶H̶a̶d̶o̶f̶m̶a̶n̶'̶s̶ ̶R̶a̶m̶m̶e̶r̶ ̶b̶r̶a̶n̶c̶h̶.̶
  • This tank, alongside the Split, Lancer and Mage, will appear in Tale of Domalina, a Tale of Diep and Tale of Arras inspiration. It focuses on timelines (mostly other Diep-Arras universe), era before Panzer, hell, even before the creation of existence in the Ioverse as well, and Celestials, but i'm too lazy and this is not even possible to create a Tale of Diep-scale project entirely alone, while me not been a mod anyways.
