The Stinger is an Tier 3 Tank that now has an extra Bee spawner on it's back, thus making it be able to spawn bees. It also has small cosmetic spikes. It branches from Split, and it will upgrade to Bent Hybrid, Swarmpidae, Hornet, Vanquisher, Double Stinger, Arachstinger, Flared Bees, and Incept at level 45.
Design[]
It features a round body like most Tanks, and has the same weapons as the Split. However it has an extra swarmer spawner on the back, and has 2 cosmetic spikes protruding out of it, on it's outer sides.
Technical[]
The Stinger has Split's attacks, except that it now had an extra swarmer spawner. Those bees are uncontrollable, and they have the same power as Beekeeper's bees. They last longer, but shoots bees at a slower rate. The 2 spikes on it's outer sides don't do anything, they're there for decoration. It is outclassed by it's upgrades, and thus you should not keep Stinger if you can upgrade to Tier 4.
Strategy[]
- Strong Against:Low DPS tanks, Rammers, Glass cannon tanks, Tri-Angle branch.
- Weak Against:Concentrated tanks, High RoF tanks, Sniper-class, it's Tier 4 upgrades.
As the Stinger[]
- Your new Bees helps really well in fighting other tanks. They can attack the enemy from the flanks or simply helps to add extra damage.
- The bees are really good to annoy enemies, where you can constantly distract their attention to you, without seeing your teammates.
- You can fight Destroyers a lot better, since your bees constantly home onto enemies, and the Destroyer will take a much harder time to kill you.
- Be wary of the fact that you can't control your bees.
Against the Stinger[]
- The Stinger has the same weaknesses as a Split. It's cannons are far too spreaded out to attack at long-range, so attack it from afar.
- You can use High-DPS tanks to kill it quickly, but still, it's firepower is nothing to underestimate.
- Killing it with Destroyer is a much more difficult task, as the bees can home onto you, when you got close to it. Even worse, these deal a fair amount of damage and can kill you.
- Ramming it is much more difficult, to try to suprise them. Sniper class tanks also works on sniping the Stinger.
Upgrades[]
- Bent Hybrid:Empowers the 2 side cannons, focusing them closer to the central cannon, and upgraded the bee spawner to a drone spawner. However, it loses the 2 spikes.
- Swarmpidae: Adds yet another bee spawner on it's back, and 2 more spikes protruding out of it. However the bee spawners are moved to the back sides.
- Hornet: You now have a Drive top (like Overdrive) and thus the bees are upgraded to have auto-cannons on top. The back also have a cosmetic cannon on top of the bee spawner.
- Vanquisher:Turns the side barrels to Cruiser swarm barrels. These drones are weaker in damage, but faster. There is also a large spike below, and protruding out of the bee spawner.
- Double Stinger:Double Split but you have 2 small bee spawner and 4 tiny spikes. These 2 bee spawners combined have the original Stinger's power.
- Arachstinger: Gains 4 Gunner barrels spreaded on the 2 back sides of the Stinger, making it have 10 barrels.
- Flared Bees: Gains 2 outer strong barrels, like the Flare.
- Incept: Your side cannons are now focused, like the Focus.
