The Symbolab is a Tier 3 upgrade, having a unique mechanic on the traps. The traps can move in chaos, in a total of five times. It branches from Trapper and Desmos, and will upgrade to Theorem, Amalgamate, Parallax, Tri-Symbolab and Sysrotate at Level 45. It has the same decor spikes as on the Desmos.

Design[]

The Symbolab looks like Desmos, except that it's cannon is replaced by a launcher.

Technical[]

It now shoots traps that are unique. First, when they stop (when firing a trap, it stops moving after a short time), they will launch themselves to a random direction, called rebounding. Second, they do this 5 times, that can't be controlled, with the same speed as first launched. The more bullet speed you spend, the faster they launch themselves. Second, when the traps touches a obstacle or maze wall, they ricochet out of the obstacle/wall. Third, the damage of the trap is the same as Trapper's, except that when an enemy got hit by it, it deals instantenious damage before ricocheting from them. The Symbolab's traps also lasts longer than regular trapper's.

Strategy[]

  • Strong Against:Unexpecting glass-cannons, Rammers, low RoF tanks.
  • Weak Against:Spread bullet spammer tanks (like Penta Shot), long-range tanks like Sniper-classes, Overseer-classes.

As the Symbolab[]

  • Your traps move in random directions, which helps really well in farming in Pentagon Nests, as the traps deal the same damage as Trapper's, and traps can hit multiple pentagons along the way, stacking it up.
  • It is also effective in Maze, as your traps can rebound to the enemy, if your traps hit a wall or such.
  • If an enemy fights you, shoot your traps from the sides of them, as the traps can launch to them, damaging them heavily.
  • Rammers almost can't ram you, because your traps can rebound to them if they try to ram you.

Against the Symbolab[]

  • Don't get close to it's traps, because they can deal heavy damage, and might launch to you without even knowing it.
  • Use trap-clearing spammers like Penta Shot to clear all of it's dangerous random traps. You can also easily kill the Symbolab with it too.
  • Sniper-classes can also outrange the Symbolab, because you have superior FoV. Sniping the Symbolab will be hard because of it's constantly-moving traps blocking shots.
  • Overseer-classes also works on killing the Symbolab. Your drones can avoid their traps, and kill them. Be careful because the traps sometimes can launch to you, but if you're very unlucky, you might die!

Upgrades[]

  • Parallax:The traps can't rebound anymore, instead, the traps are fired at a very slow rate and have slow speed. To compensate for that, the traps themselves are stronger than Constructor's, and they can shoot a instantenous beam that pulls in enemies when they got close enough to you. The Parallax can only launch 3 of these traps,however.
  • Theorem:The very front of the trap launcher now has a golden spike. The traps rebound an extra 5 times, and they last even longer.
  • Amalgamate: Builder and Symbolab combined. It now shoots blocks that has the same rebound mechanic.
  • Tri-Symbolab: Tri-Trapper but has the rebound mechanic.
  • Sysrotate:The traps now rebound in sine waves and in a 105 degree angle, in addition to normal reboundance.

Trivia[]

  • This unique mechanic was from another person, when they wanted to expand the Desmos branch, just made by me.

  • Desmos branch will have 3 new tier 3 upgrades, that can be possible. This is one of the 3.
