"GET TO DA CHOPPA!" ~ Tanks Being Attacked By An Enemy Predator
The Tankcopter is a special tank which is somewhat, um, not much versatile for combat (except passing over walls for Maze).
Design[]
Basically more like the real-life Boeing Chinook helicopters, but has two Barrels on front that shoot EXPLODING MINI DRONES (like the Hwacha's drones). Of course, since it is a helicopter, it is larger than a true Dominator. NOTE: Not a circle tank, but rather multiple semi-rounded squares/rectangles. The rotor blades spin slowly when not in flight mode. JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES.
Technical[]
The Tankcopter is very different compared to all other tanks. It can carry tanks to prevent them from being damaged, in exchange for taking those for itself instead. It can carry with a maximum of 10 tanks, no matter what are their levels (yes, including giant Motherships).
Note that its hitbox is not the same as with all other tanks, for obvious reasons.
Its health is by far extremely higher than both Dominators and Motherships. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a weak healing factor, and had to wait for five minutes to start regenerating health.
The Tankcopter can enable its flight mode (by pressing Shift key or right click). Its 'helicopter rotors' will begin spinning very fast. During this mode, the Tankcopter can no longer accept new tanks to carry again, until the Tankcopter disable its flight mode after 15 seconds of flying or by pressing the same key/s. The Tankcopter can enable flight mode again roughly 20 seconds after landing.
While during flight, it is immune to ramming tanks and traps, which in return, only pass under it. Also, there is only 20% chance of successfully hitting the Tankcopter with bullets and drones, the rest percentage will just like passing underneath it. Also, it will be able to pass over Maze walls. Disabling flight mode while over a Maze wall will cause the Tankcopter to glitch out for a second, then will automatically placed on nearest available space around the wall. Note that you can't leave the actual map border while on flight mode.
When the Tankcopter has been destroyed, and on its flight mode, all tanks carried by it receives 50% damage of their max health, and will be thrown out of the Tankcopter. And additional 25% damage will be added if the Tankcopter has been destroyed while above Maze walls. However, if the tank is out of flight mode when destroyed, no damage will be received by its carried tanks.
Its rotor blades shoot bullets after all, even on flight mode.
Strategy[]
- Strong Against: Smasher branch, Trapper branch
- Weak Against: Bullet-spamming tanks, high-damaging tanks, other Tankcopters
Trivia[]
- Reference is the Boeing Chinooks (with some Apache mixture).
- Might be a disgrace for some.
- Unplayable, even in Sandbox.
- Trying to implement a way on how to, but there is something I was having trouble thinking of.
- In case you may ask about the 'landing-inside-walls glitch', yes, that is intended.
- Its size doesn't change, even when leveling up.
- Another helicopter-like thing exist, except it doesn't have much of the Tankcopter's features. However, it is a Boss Tank. Oh wait, another thing that has reinforced stats exists now.
- We may hear that quote over different places (I think), although if you're pretty smart enough to guess, while also at least having some fascination on watching action movies (which I wasn't, actually), then you may get where the quote actually originates.
