The Ultra Designer is a Tier 4 Tank and as the name implies is one of 5 upgrade choices from Designer
Designer[]
The Ultra Designer features the standard circular cyan base and a rectangular "Projector" with semi-round edges overlapping a bigger "Projector". When firing, only the top/smaller one retracts. It is also slightly bigger and less wide than the original Designer's Projector.
Technical[]
The upgraded version of the Designer now spawn more tough and stronger Polygons, with 3x times more health/body damage than regular one. Not only this but it can now spawn Alpha Pentagons, Guardians, Summoners and Defenders! They're expensive, however, so choose wisely which one do you want to spawn (you can only spawn 1 boss at time) When lauching one of these, a smaller version will come out and after 2secs it will grow to its original size (E.g.: Ultra Designer can launch a triangle that transforms into a Defender) Costs and more info:
- Alpha Pentagon = 100k. Only 2x times stronger/tougher and 15% smaller than normal;
- Guardian = 200k. A mini version of the guardian that follows and protects you!Health and drone damage are 1.5x less powerful;
- Summoner = 300k. Same with Guardian;
- Defender = 500k. Same with Guardian.
Everything except those features is the same as the Designer
Strategies[]
- Strong against: Slow and not careful tanks
- Weak against: High DPS and ROF tanks that surpass its ultra defenses
As the Ultra Designer[]
- Try to destroy as many polygons or tanks as possible to gain score points. As you only have 6 upgrade stats, sacrifice some points to enhance your Body Damage and Max Health and try to ram at unprepared foes or polygons and get some score points with ease
- Like the Designer, don't ever rush to the enemy as you can end up destroyed by long range/high ROF tanks
Against the Ultra Designer[]
- Try to get as close as possible and initiate a bullet hailstorm. If you've chosen classes from Overseer's family, stay at a safe distance and (only in team gamemodes) behind high ROF tanks to prevent accidental bullets killing you. Play wise and fool the enemy, constantly spinning your drones around the tank until you get the chance to deal the final damage. The most practical classes to annihilate Ultra Designers, however, are High FoV classes such as the Predator.
Trivia[]
- It's the second tank to entirely use polygons as its primary weapon, the Designer being the first.
- It's also the second tank to be entirely made for teaming, the Designer being the first as well.
- It's the first tank to be a direct upgrade from its predecessor without the word "Mega" before its name.
