The Visionsmasher is a Tier 4 upgrade, that has a wide FoV. It has a unique ability of been able to phase walls/obstacles for a short period of time. It branches from Smasher, and might not upgrade anymore.

Design[]

The Visionsmasher's shell is always green, but it can't inflict the acid effect. It's shell is simillar to Spike, except that it's spikes are way, way shorter. It might look weak, but it's actually powerful.

Technical[]

It has the same stats as an regular Smasher, except that your FoV is increased, equal to that of Assassin. Second, you have the special ability of phasing through walls and obstacles, for 5 seconds. When you are on phasing mode, you can't be damaged, but also cannot deal damage either! Also, when the Visionsmasher's phasing mode runs off, it will be a bit slower and can't deal ram damage for 1 second (and it will be invincible during that time). The Visionsmasher will recharge it's phasing mode after 15 seconds of using it. It will be painfully long when fighting or running, so you must survive for as long as possible. As a Smasher-branch tank, the Visionsmasher does not exist in Siege and Hard-Mode Siege.

Strategy[]

  • Strong Against: Low-FoV tanks, Sniper-classes, Cruiser-classes, slow tanks, low RoF tanks.
  • Weak Against: High-RoF tanks, fast tanks, Destroyer-classes, Builder-classes

As the Visionsmasher[]

  • You are very utilliful, as the phasing and the high-FoV helps well in seeing enemies and ramming.
  • Sniper-classes are helpless against you, as you can simply use phasing mode to attack the Sniper-class, when it runs out, you are very close to the Sniper by now, and you can easily ram it from there.
  • Cruiser-classes also can't kill you in time. Their swarm drones deal too little damage to you, and you can also use phasing mode to phase their swarms entirely, and finish them with a deadly ram.
  • Other than increased FoV and the ability to phase walls, you are just a regular Smasher. Be careful when fighting Mega-Smasher, Spike, Bloodhound and Duperiority classes, as they either have better ram, better speed or just having another mini-Smasher as minion.

Against the Visionsmasher[]

  • Even with phasing, the Visionsmasher is still countered by Destroyer-classes. If they're on phasing mode, you can't attack them, but fortunately they can't attack you too. When the phasing mode ends, it can't ram you right away, so you must attack the Visionsmasher as soon as it is able to move normally again. It will take a lot of damage, and might even die.
  • Drone tanks should be very careful of the Visionsmasher, as it's phasing mode poses a big threat to you, and it's 1-second invincibility after the phasing mode. Defend yourself at all times, unless you're a skilled player.
  • Use a fast tank to run away from this tank, such as the Tri-Angle.
  • You can also use spammer tanks to fight the Visionsmasher too, such as the Machine Gun and/or the Twin branched tanks.

Trivia[]

  • The Visionsmasher placed 2nd place, with 3 votes, so it will be added secondly.
  • It was inspired by the tankster.io fantasy tank Phaser.
  • This tank has a short 1-second invulnerability, so pros can use this short time for all sorts of uses.
