Diep.io Wiki
Tiers are separate Tank Classes, organized with the characteristics of their weapon(s).
Final Tier1

The official class tree as of December 21st, 2017. The class tree can be opened in game by pressing Y on the keyboard in Diep.io.

Tiers are represented in the Class Tree, shown on the picture to the right, as a series of concentric rings containing every tank in the game. It can be displayed in-game by holding the Y key. In the direct center of the Class Tree is the player's tank. The first ring contains Tier 2 (Level 15) tanks, the second ring contains Tier 3 (Level 30) tanks, and the outermost ring contains Tier 4 (Level 45) tanks. Areas shaded black on the tree indicate an unavailable Upgrade in that tier; for example, one must press ignore once after the Basic Tank to get to the Smasher.

There is a recurring pattern of colors in the upgrade selection menu and the Class Tree. The first tank in an upgrade branch will always have a light blue background. The second tank will be green. The third tank will be red. The fourth tank will be yellow. The fifth will be dark blue. This is only used for Battleship, Smasher and Auto Trapper. The sixth option will be purple. The Factory is currently the only tank with this color. The color order can also be found in the tank’s Stat buttons, which are color-reversed compared to the pattern in the class tree. The game mode selection buttons and colored Achievements list also use this pattern. Regardless of speculation, these colors do not seem to represent anything other than a simple order pattern to more easily distinguish tanks apart when quickly selecting an upgrade for now.

Tier 1: Level 1

Tank NAV Icon1 The tank that the player starts within Diep.io. The player has one Cannon that can destroy Squares in two hits, Triangles in five, and Pentagons in 22 with no additional Stats. The health, Bullet, and movement Statistics are average and can be upgraded as they gain more points upon destroying Polygons and killing other players.

Tier 2: Level 15

Upon reaching Level 15, the player may choose to upgrade to one of these Tier 2 specializations, or ignore them to get to the Smasher.

Tank Upgrades

Twin NAV Icon1 Twin
Choosing the Twin class grants an extra frontal Cannon while bullet power is slightly reduced. The high rate of fire increases the recoil.
Sniper NAV Icon1 Sniper
Choosing the Sniper Class grants a broader field of view allowing the player to see further. Bullet Speed is also increased, increasing bullet range. However, Reload speed decreases significantly. Damage is not increased.
MachineGun NAV Icon1 Machine Gun
The Machine Gun sprays its Bullets in a frontal cone. It fires double the rate of a basic tank - the same rate of the Twin tank. It’s less accurate but it covers a wider area. Bullet damage is slightly higher than the twin but less than the basic tank.
FlankGuard NAV Icon1 Flank Guard
Choosing the Flank Guard class adds a Cannon on the rear. This allows the player to shoot in both directions to defend their back. Since both Cannons have identical Recoil, the Recoil effect is nullified, since both Cannons will shoot the tank back into where it already was.

Tier 3: Level 30

Upon reaching Level 30, the player may choose to upgrade to one of these Tier 3 specializations:

Twin Upgrades

TripleShot NAV Icon1 Triple Shot
Choosing the Triple Shot class adds another Cannon and spreads the guns across the front. Triple Shot can cover a wide area with Bullets, but direct firepower is significantly less than before. Recoil can propel the player backward.
QuadTank NAV Icon1 Quad Tank
The Quad Tank has four guns spread over its sides like a plus sign allowing the player to fire Bullets in 4 directions. Direct firepower is significantly less than before. Recoil is disabled. (Also playable from the Flank Guard class)
TwinFlank NAV Icon1 Twin Flank
The Twin Flank mirrors the Twin’s guns to the rear, adding an extra defense to the back. Recoil also is disabled. (Also selectable from the Flank Guard class)

Sniper Upgrades

Assassin NAV Icon1

Assassin
Choosing the Assassin class further improves upon the Sniper’s vision. The Field of view increases at the cost of slower Reload speed.

Overseer NAV Icon1 Overseer
The Overseer has Spawners that generate Drones instead of shooting Bullets. Holding the left mouse button, holding "Space", or pressing “E” causes the Drones to follow the player's cursor, while the right mouse button or "Shift" sends all Drones away from the cursor, allowing for manual control. Otherwise, the Drones surround the player and fly out to attack nearby Polygons. Overseers have a maximum of eight Drones.
Hunter NAV Icon1 Hunter
The Hunter houses a smaller gun inside of its main Cannon and fires in a two-round burst. Field of view increases slightly.
Trapper NAV Icon1 Trapper
The Trapper replaces the Sniper’s Cannon with a Launcher that fires Traps which have tremendous penetration. A Launcher’s range is much shorter than a Cannon’s range since the traps will completely stop moving after a second. This allows for a protective wall to be built to stop enemy bullets or reinforce a position. it is advised to stay as a sniper of basic tank until level 45 because the lack of bullet movement makes it difficult to gain points.

Machine Gun Upgrades

Destroyer NAV Icon1 Destroyer
The Destroyer features a massive, slow-firing Cannon that delivers a single giant Bullet with each shot. Firing the Cannon gives lots of recoil. With enough Skill Points in Bullet stats, it can punch through a wall of bullets and still have enough power to outright one shot a tank or two (or more if you're extremely lucky). Destroyer branch has the most powerful level 45 ammunition in the game. The bullet is close to 10 times stronger than most medium sized bullets and is very difficult to stop.
Gunner NAV Icon1 Gunner
The Gunner rapidly fires small Bullets in a straight path from four frontal miniguns. Reload speed doubles again at the cost of decreased damage per shot. Recoil is reduced significantly. The small bullets are very good at sneaking through enemy defenses and chipping away at their health.

Flank Guard Upgrades

Tri-angle NAV Icon1 Tri-Angle
The Tri-Angle features two rear Cannons positioned to provide additional thrust when fired. The Tri-Angle and its tree can propel themselves with recoil while shooting to the front. The back bullets are about four to five times weaker than the front cannon bullets, making them one of the weakest bullets in the game and giving them a very poor bullet size to damage ratio.
QuadTank NAV Icon1 Quad Tank
The Quad Tank has four guns spread over its sides, allowing the player to fire Bullets in all directions. Direct firepower is significantly less than before. Recoil is disabled. (Also selectable from the Twin class)
TwinFlank NAV Icon1 Twin Flank
The Twin Flank adds an extra Cannon in the front and the rear to the Flank Guard. Recoil is disabled. (Also selectable from the Twin class)
Auto3 NAV Icon1
Auto 3
The Auto 3 features three side-mounted Auto Turrets. The tank rotates unstoppably and slowly while its turrets automatically track and fire at the closest nearby threats. The turrets can be manually controlled, to an extent; holding down the left mouse button will target the cursor with one or two turrets, depending on their position. Holding down the right mouse button will make the turrets face away from the cursor.

Tank Upgrades

Note: This requires players to stay as a Basic Tank until at least Level 30.

Smasher NAV Icon1
Smasher
The Smasher is a dedicated ramming tank. Choosing the Smasher removes guns and all Bullet upgrade options and allows the tank to hold ten upgrades in each body upgrade slot instead of seven. The field of view also increases to sniper level. Any points put into bullets are refunded for use in the now available slots upon upgrading. The only available slots in order from the top down are Max Health, Health Regen, Body Damage, and Movement Speed. At level 45, three of the four upgrade slots will be maxxed and the fourth will have three upgrade points in it.

Tier 4: Level 45

Upon reaching Level 45, the player may select one of these Tier 4 specializations. This is the final tier that most tanks can legitimately reach and is also the final level that any player can reach unless they press H in Domination game mode to become the Dominator which is fixed at Level 75.

Twin Flank Upgrades

TripleTwin NAV Icon1 Triple Twin
The Triple Twin allows the player to have three sets of Twin Cannons, each set spaced at an equal distance away from the others. This will spread the Bullets in a fashion similar to the Octo Tank, though it is not as spread out and direct firepower is significantly greater.
Battleship NAV Icon1 Battleship
The Battleship replaces all of the player's Cannons with Mini Spawners that pump out small Drones at an extremely fast rate. These must be manually controlled to spawn, though half are auto-controlled. However, Drones automatically disappear 4 seconds after spawning. These drones are also known as Partisans. (Also selectable from the Overseer class.)

Quad Tank Upgrades

OctoTank NAV Icon1 Octo Tank
Eight Cannons offer more power than four, and the Octo Tank allows the player to shoot in all directions, due to each Cannon being equidistantly spaced from the others. This will result in a storm of Bullets that spread throughout the area. The cannons shoot in an alternating pattern of four opposite cannons in a plus sign shape at once then the other four, and so on (basically it shoots one quad tank shaped burst at a time ). One can click C to turn on auto spin for even bullet distribution all around.
Auto5 NAV Icon1 Auto 5
The Auto 5 upgrades from the Quad Tank by getting one more gun and replacing all Cannons with Auto Turrets. It also upgrades from the Auto 3. The player can control 2-3 Turrets and have more firepower. The Turrets can’t rotate as much, though. (Also selectable from the Auto-3 class.)

Triple Shot Upgrades

Triplet NAV Icon1 Triplet

The Triplet has an extra Cannon compared to the Twin, which significantly increases its firing rate, and it is one of the fastest shooters in the game. If the Bullets are not deflected, then escape can be hard for mid and short-range. It is recommended for a level 30 Twin to avoid upgrading to Triple Shot until getting to level 45, as a Triple Shot's Bullets are very spread out and have little direct firepower. The triplets' bullets are actually slightly weaker than a twins' bullets to balance out the tanks' high firepower.

PentaShot NAV Icon1 Penta Shot
The Penta Shot can fire 5 Bullets at a rapid speed. It will shoot the whole area in front of the tank with a plethora of Bullets, similarly to the Octo Tank, except the guns are much closer together and only shoots in front of the tank. It has incredibly high recoil.
SpreadShot NAV Icon1 Spread Shot
A class with eleven Cannons! The Spread Shot shoots these sequentially and, as its name implies, generates a massive “spread” of Bullets which have surprisingly high Penetration. The center Cannon will fire a normal-sized Bullet (similar to the basic tanks' bullet), while the other ten Cannons will fire gunner bullets. It has almost no recoil.

Overseer Upgrades

Overlord NAV Icon1 Overlord
Same as the Overseer, but now has four Spawners in which the Drones will spawn. The maximum of eight remains the same, but the Reload is essentially doubled. The core reload stat, however, does not change.
Necromancer NAV Icon1 Necromancer
The player now loses all ability to fire any sort of projectile. Instead, the first task of this class must be to “infect” a nearby Square using the tank’s body. That Square can infect other Squares, and so on until they can have a maximum army of up to 36 Squares (at Max Drone Count).
Reload turns into Drone Count, which increases max Drone Count by 2 per upgrade. These deadly Squares do less damage than the Overseer/Overlord’s Drones, but their vast number and sheer force can overwhelm opponents.
Manager NAV Icon1 Manager
The player now loses one Spawner, leaving only one remaining. This is mitigated somewhat since the sole Spawner produces Drones almost twice as fast, and eight Drones is still the cap. The Manager is also able to turn invisible, similar to the Stalker and the Landmine.
Overtrapper NAV Icon1 Overtrapper
A Trapper with two uncontrollable Drones, similar to the Hybrid. The traps are the same as the trapper. Also upgrades from Trapper.
Battleship NAV Icon2 Battleship
The Battleship replaces all of the player's Spawners with Mini Spawners that pump out small fast Drones at an extremely fast rate. The Drones’ spawn can be controlled, but only half of the drones are controllable (the rest are auto-controlled. A Drone will last for 4 seconds before disappearing. Also upgrades from Twin Flank.
Factory NAV Icon1
Factory
From now on, instead of spawning Drones, this tank will spawn a maximum of 6 Minions, all of which follow the cursor when either the fire button or E is pressed (Auto Fire). Its appearance is nearly identical to that of a Necromancer, the only difference being the amount of Spawners. There is also a slight chance that newly spawned players will spawn out of one (teammate only), making it the only way to spawn outside of a base in team modes..

Assassin Upgrades

Ranger NAV Icon1 Ranger
The Ranger is exactly like the Assassin, except that its Field of View is larger than those of the Assassin and the Stalker. It has the highest vision range of any tank and requires great skill to land shots from across your FOV.
Stalker NAV Icon1 Stalker
The Stalker has a special ability: Invisibility. The Stalker can turn invisible when it is immobile and has not fired any Bullets for about 2 seconds. While invisible, the player can still be damaged. When damaged, the tank is unveiled slightly, causing the tank to be visible. Should the Stalker move away, the invisibility cloak will completely drop. It is advised that as soon as an enemy notices you after getting hit by a bullet or polygon to move away or fire back immediately because even the tiniest contact will make you visible for a moment.

Tri-Angle Upgrades

Booster NAV Icon1
Booster
This Tri-Angle upgrade adds 2 extra guns on the back allowing faster movement from recoil.
Fighter NAV Icon1
Fighter
This variant of the Tri-Angle has two extra guns on the sides for better defense and offense. The side cannons have damage in between that of the front cannon and the back cannon.

Destroyer Upgrades

Hybrid NAV Icon1 Hybrid
The Hybrid is a mix of the Overseer and the Destroyer. It has a Spawner at the back of the tank, with a maximum of two uncontrollable Drones. Then, of course, there’s the Destroyer Cannon.
Annihilator NAV Icon1 Annihilator
Its Bullet is nearly twice as large as its predecessor, the Destroyer’s. It also has increased recoil and same Reload. Its Bullet damage and Penetration is the same as the Destroyer’s.
Skimmer NAV Icon1 Skimmer
A similar design to the Hunter but with wider Cannons, this tank has a Deployer and shoots a Destroyer Bullet with two small cannons that are positioned 180 degrees apart. However, the main Bullet’s damage is significantly decreased. These bullets are known as missiles. As of press (Keyboard) time, only this tank and the Rocketeer use missiles.
Rocketeer NAV Icon1 Rocketeer
The Rocketeer fires bullets that have a Machine Gun Barrel on it's back, propelling the bullet forward. These too are missiles, as above.

Hunter Upgrades

Predator NAV Icon1 Predator
The Predator adds a third Cannon to the top of the tank and also gives it a unique ability where if the player holds right-click, they can focus their vision farther in the direction they are facing. The zoom screen doesn’t move with the player, though, so it is advised for them to zoom wisely! This tank is a combination of the old two-Cannon Predator and the X Hunter. Its Bullets are very damaging. The distance of zoom is customizable. If the player clicks while the mouse pointer is way away, they will zoom a lot. If the pointer is close, they will not zoom as much. Also, their new FOV does not move with their tank. The Predator is the only tank where the player may not know where their own bullets are coming from.
Streamliner NAV Icon1 Streamliner
The Streamliner replaces all Cannons with five short overlapping Cannons. They all fire one after another extremely quickly making for a pseudo-laser of Gunner Bullets.

Trapper Upgrades

Tri-Trapper NAV Icon1 Tri-Trapper
The Tri-Trapper has tripled Trap production, faster Reload, and shorter Trap lifespan. It is nearly a purely defensive tank and is best utilized to provide cover for teammates.
GunnerTrapper NAV Icon1 Gunner Trapper
A unique combination of the Trapper and the Gunner. The two Cannons now point towards the player's mouse and the Launcher at the back now faces the opposite. It launches medium-sized Traps with the properties of regular ones. The Gunner Cannons have half the Reload but insane Penetration for what they are.
OverTrapper NAV Icon2 Overtrapper
It’s a Trapper with two AI Drones. This deadly combination can make this tank difficult to approach for non-snipers.
MegaTrapper NAV Icon1 Mega Trapper
It makes the Launcher twice as large and makes it shoot Mega Traps, the second most powerful level 45 ammunition in the game. The Mega Trapper has lower Reload than the base Trapper, however, and shorter Trap lifespan.
AutoTrapper NAV Icon1 Auto Trapper
A Trapper with an uncontrolled Auto Turret on top. The Turret is powerful, has free rotation, and is deadly effective when combined with the defensive nature of the Trapper.

Smasher Upgrades

Landmine NAV Icon1 Landmine
A Smasher which can become invisible while not moving or taking damage for a full thirteen seconds. Due to the extended time required to become fully invisible, and the quickness with which it can be dispelled, it is heavily advised to use this tank with care. The tank is made of two spinning hexagons, one is spinning half as fast.
AutoSmasher NAV Icon1 Auto Smasher
The uncontrollable Auto Turret on top is the same as the Auto Gunner’s and the Auto Trapper’s, and so makes this tank potentially deadly if enough points are spent on Bullet upgrades or body upgrades, but at the expense of either defense or an effective turret respectively. This tank is the only tank to have 10 upgrades for every stat.
Spike NAV Icon1 Spike
The Spike, upon being upgraded to, only increases Body Damage. It is the toughest tank in the game and will always defeat enemy rammers other than another spike. Its hull looks like 12 triangles evenly spaced out.

Machine Gun Upgrades

Note: This requires players to stay as a Machine Gun until Level 45.

Sprayer NAV Icon1
Sprayer
The Sprayer gains a secondary Cannon in the center of the large Cannon, which shoots Gunner Bullets at about half the Reload of the larger Cannon, albeit much more accurate. The Sprayer also has increased recoil and increased rate of fire when compared to the Machine Gun. It fires in a sequence of 3 Bullets where it shoots 1 normal-sized Bullet and then shoots another normal and 1 smaller Bullet simultaneously. The larger Bullet is as strong as a Machine Gun bullet, and the small one is seven times weaker. However, the big Cannon is wider and therefore less accurate, though the small cannon is not wide (and so, very accurate, just at the cost of doing significantly less Damage).

Gunner Upgrades

AutoGunner NAV Icon2 Auto Gunner
A Gunner with an uncontrolled Auto Turret on top. The Turret has free rotation, has an extended FOV, and is surprisingly powerful. Following where this Turret fires can help the player to notice tanks that would normally not be visible to them.
Streamliner NAV Icon2 Streamliner
The Streamliner replaces all Cannons with five short overlapping Cannons. They all fire one after another extremely quickly making for a pseudo-laser of Gunner Bullets. Because it also stems from the hunter in the sniper upgrade branch, it has vision range equal to that of the hunter.

Auto 3 Upgrades

Auto5 NAV icon2 Auto 5
Upon upgrading from the Auto 3, the Auto 5 receives two additional Auto Turrets. The player can now control 2-3 guns at a time and utilize more firepower. The Turrets cannot rotate a full 360 degrees.
AutoGunner NAV Icon1 Auto Gunner
A Gunner with an uncontrolled Auto Turret on top. The Turret has free rotation, has an extended FOV, and is surprisingly powerful. Following where this Turret fires can help the player to notice tanks that would normally not be visible to them.

Removed Upgrades

These Classes existed at one point in the game, but have since been replaced or removed altogether.

MegaSmasher NAV Icon1
Mega Smasher
(From Smasher)
Back when the Smasher had knockback resistance instead of 10 upgrades as their special ability, this tank increased the knockback resistance. On August 7th, the knockback resistance bonus was replaced with the 10 Stat capacity bonus and thus this tank was removed.
XHunter NAV Icon1 X Hunter
(From Hunter)
The X Hunter was the Predator without the zoom ability. It was removed when it and the Old Predator were merged.
MachineGun2 NAV Icon1 Machine Gun II — (Machine Gun in-game)
(From Machine Gun)
This class decreased the spread and had better Reload and Bullet Damage.
Destroyer2 NAV Icon1 Mega Destroyer

(AKA Destroyer II) — (Destroyer in-game)
(From Machine Gun II)
This was a nickname given to the Destroyer when it upgraded from the Machine Gun II. At that time, it was both a Tier 3 and 4 tank.

AutoTank NAV Icon1 Auto 4 (AkA Auto Tank) — (Auto Tank in-game) (From Gunner) This tank had four Auto Turrets instead of three or five. It didn’t have Auto Spin on all the time. It was deemed too weak for Tier 4 as the player couldn't control the turrets and they don't attack invisible tanks and was subsequently replaced by an unnamed Flank Guard upgrade (now the Auto 3) and the Auto Tank (now the Auto 5).
Mothership 2.0 Mothership — (Removed on September 22nd)
(Special Removed Tank)
The Mothership is a tank that used to Exist in the Mothership and Sandbox Gamemode, now it only exists in the Sandbox Game Mode. In the Mothership gamemode, players had to defend their team’s Mothership and take over the opposite team’s Mothership. Right now it is unlikely to return.
Ball NAV Icon1 Ball — The Ball is a tank that was secretly added on 13th January, 2017 and removed on the same day. It could defeat a fully upgraded Spike and still stay alive, but it didn’t have any cannons, so it couldn’t fire, many believe this tank was added thanks to a bug in the script.
MountedTurret NAV Icon1 Mounted Turret — The Mounted Turret is a tank that was added on 19th November, 2016 and removed 10 minutes after its release. It could control Auto Turrets of other tanks by pressing H, it also had no cannons, so it couldn’t fire, many say it was removed due to Multi-Boxing.

Other Upgrades

These are classes that used to be in a different Tier, had a different design, or used to work differently but were kept around and tweaked.

Triplet NAV Icon1 Old Triplet(Tier 3 upgrade)
From Twin
This was the Triplet when it was one of the most popular easy-access classes around. It was deemed too strong for Tier 3 and was moved to Tier 4 as an upgrade to the Triple Shot. Triplet also had 2 different designs in the past, although the only differences were the layering of the Cannons.
Sprayer NAV Icon1 Old Sprayer(Tier 3 upgrade)
From Machine Gun
This class previously used to shoot identical Bullets from both cannons, but this was deemed too strong for Tier 3 and so it was moved to Tier 4. However, even at Tier 4 it was still considered overpowered, and so its normal Bullets from the middle cannon were replaced by weaker Gunner Bullets.
Predator NAV Icon2 Old Predator(before merge with X Hunter)
From Hunter
This class was the Predator without the third Cannon. It was removed when it and the X Hunter were merged.
Landmine NAV Icon2 Old Landmine(before the August 7th Update)
From Smasher
This class had the exact same design as the original Smasher, but was changed, probably to have players not confuse this tank and its predecessor, the Smasher.
Master NAV Icon1
Old Master

(AKA Factory)(before the November 9th Update)
From Overseer
This class had three Minion Spawners unlike the Factory and a circular base and uncontrollable Factory Drones. It was renamed to Factory later.

ArenaCloser NAV Icon2 Old Arena Closer(Before Domination Update)
Unplayable Tank
The old Arena Closers were easier to escape, as they were smaller, and had less Movement Speed and Bullet Speed. They were later buffed around the time of the Domination Update.

Special

These do not branch off anything; they are only obtainable in Sandbox apart from Developer which is only used by the Developer, Zeach himself. The Dominator is the only tank that can be obtained in another game mode by any player by pressing H; that game mode being Domination.

ArenaCloser NAV Icon1 Arena Closer
The Arena Closer is a tank that can only be used by a player in Sandbox Mode. The Closer only spawns in when a game is outdated or has been won by a team. The Arena Closers are much bulkier and faster than normal tanks and can one-shot any player.
Mothership NAV Icon1 Mothership
The Mothership is a tank that used to exist in the Mothership and Sandbox Gamemode, now it only exists in the Sandbox Game Mode, in the Mothership game mode, players had to defend their team’s Mothership and take over the opposite team’s Mothership. Right now it’s unlikely to return.
Dominator NAV Icon1 Dominator
The Dominator is the only Tier 6 tank in the game, so it is special. However, it is only existent in the Domination game mode and cannot be obtained by upgrading; instead one will have to press H to control it.
Developer NAV Icon1 Developer
The Developer Class is an unconfirmed Class that can only be used by the Developer Zeach himself. It can transform into basically anything and can go beyond the level cap of 45. Although it cannot be obtained in Sandbox, some of the cheats that the Developer uses are in the Sandbox Game Mode.

Trivia

  • All Tier 4 tanks are 126-175 pixels wide.
  • The basic tank has a surprisingly strong bullet compared to other bullet shooting tank classes, only weaker than destroyer branch bullets.
  • If there were to be a seventh tank from a branch, the background color would be pink, as shown by the Game Mode selection, the colored Achievements list and the reversed Stats colors. For an eighth, it would be tan. It is unknown what a ninth tank would be, but since the colors used by the achievements list cycle through the eight colors, it would most likely be light blue.
  • There was a running theory that the background color of the Upgrade icon corresponds to the base Stat debuff it gets, as it typically matches the color of the respective Stat bar.
    • There are several issues with this:
      • If the background color were to depend on the tank’s Stat debuff, there wouldn’t be color variants, as seen in the Overtrapper, Auto Gunner, Streamliner, and Battleship, for example.
      • The Stat de-buffs aren’t necessarily true: For instance, the Battleship may have a dark blue background, but with its notoriously fast Drones, it certainly doesn’t get a de-buff to the Bullet/Drone Speed.
        • In general, the theory can be debunked with simple Sandbox testing.
  • Most of the fully removed tanks had a light blue upgrade background. The only removed tank with a different background color was the Auto 4.
  • These Stats are not changed upon upgrading to every tank (which means no buff or debuff): Health Regeneration, Movement Speed, Max Health.
  • The Auto 3 and Gunner are the only Tier 3 tanks to have no Tier 4 upgrades exclusive to them. Strangely, both share an upgrade between them, the Auto Gunner.
  • The Overseer has the most Tier 4 upgrades of all Tier 3 tanks, with 6 options. It is followed by Trapper with 5 upgrades, and Destroyer with 4. All other Tier 3 tanks have only 2 or 3 Tier 4 upgrades.
  • The Battleship is the only Tier 4 tank capable of being upgraded to from 3 of the 4 Tier 2 tanks.
  • Smasher and Sprayer are currently the only two tanks that jump a Tier when upgrading to; they can only be upgraded to by a tank 2 tiers lower than the upgrade's tier, and require the player to reach 30 levels past the previous upgrade's threshold, instead of 15.
  • There are 48 tanks.
